Some of the names listed and some of those not listed are enough to induce head scratching. I can only assume that the lineup wound up as it was because Swat Cat is away at Mexico for the moment and couldn't advise Rocky on who to put on the card and who not to put on the card. Oh well.....
First match: Silueta Azul vs Great Pojo
Second match: Mascara de Jade and Angel de la Muerte vs Aguila Tapatia and Angel Dorado
Special grudgematch: Swat Cat,Lupillo and Rayo Lazer vs Guerrerito del Futuro,Coco Verde and Coco Negro
Semifinal: Ottoman and "Piloto Suicidia"{he's injured and will undoubtedly be replaced.By who???} vs Shamu Jr and Aguila del America
Super Main event: Mistico and La Parka vs Dr Wagner and Averno.
As usual general seating is free with Eddie Carranza reportedly wanting to charge Five measly dollars for ringside. As usual call ahead just to make sure. The number again is [773] 486-6672.

By the way, doors open at 6pm. HOWEVER they will have clowns performing making the wait until belltime that much more unbearable.

23 days away, and I still can't believe that main event will actually happens. It's five layers of straight awesome if it does but I can't believe.
This line KILLED me. I can now only imagine the promoter thinking of more evil ways to make it feel like forever until the show starts, and then doing a big evil laugh.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but Dr. Wagner Sr. is dead, so you can safely assume this is not him wrestling, and rather his son.

My lucha knowledge is lame. I think I might go but not until 2 and a half hours into the show just to make sure I get there by the second match.

Keep in mind that they are trying to get things done faster. So I doubt the wait will be THAT long. If the clowns are smart enough to keep their routines short I think the wrestling should be well underway by 7pm. Remember that the words "doors open at 6" doesn't mean belltime but simply that's when the doors will open to let people file in and take their seats. I guess the clowns will go on at 6:30 pm if everything goes smoothly. By seven all the locals should be there and ready to wrestle. I assume that weather permitting the main eventers will be in the theater by 8pm and they will probably have their mach around 9:30 pm. The last two shows really haven't had that much delay in getting started so the only thing I can see stalling the belltime on this show would be weather,as it happened last year. Let's hope this decent string of semi nice weather lasts until then.

By the way, considering that the show is free and ringside will allegedly be only five dollars and the show will boast major stars the theater is sure to fill up.The last time Wags and Parka showed up people ultimately had to be turned away at the door because the the theater had reached maximim occupancy. In short,it's a good idea to get their as early as possible.

Two slight corrections I have to make on the lineup.[Not my fault, whatever dummy made out the flyers screwed up the names]
Great Pojo=Great Tojo
Ottoman=Atomo.
On the flyers Silueta Azul is spelled Zulieta Azul.

Yet ANOTHER correction[and again not my mistake]
The charge for ringside has been raised to ten dollars per seat.Still cheaper than most wrestling shows.Ringside tickets will only be available at the door and there will be no advanced tickets sold.SO GET THEFE EARLY!!!

Averno is booked at a 2pm show and a 7pm show in Mexico on Sunday, so I don't think he's coming. I'm disappionted because I like he more than most, but he's the most easily replacable member of the tag match. The other guys aren't booked elsewhere, so this main event looks 75% good.

According to my sources the CMLL has booked Averno for the 29th,but that Rocky Roman feels confident that Averno will come to Chicago since for this one show he will make the equivalent of one week's work down in Mexico.

Dug up some information and it appears that fellow Infernal Warrior Rey Bucanero will substitue for Averno at the Congress on Sunday. This may be for the better as Rey Bucanero [if he does come]has a bit more name value than Averno. This is no knock on Averno since he is just starting to get the big push, which might explain why he was booked on two shows for CMLL on Sunday.
