Corino has a hand in the booking of NWA talent for AWA, we just used Simon Diamond, in Michigan through Corino.

Sorry. When I posted earlier I was on my way out, and didn't have enough time to get into specifics. Here goes:
This show took place at the Comfort Suites in Schiller Park, and drew a crowd of about 270.
The show opener pitted Fatal 1 (formerly of the Henchmen) against "The Ultimate Fighter" Mike Sawyer. Great way to start the evening, with Fatal and his running buddies Bo Dice and Roll Dean (someone correct me if that's not right, I couldn't quite make out their names when they were announced) drawing a lot of heat as a pack of scowling hoodlums. Sawyer mounted a couple attempts at offense, but was outnumbered, and outside interference ultimately resulted in Fatal scoring the pin.
Match number two featured the AWA Slam debut(?) of The President of the K.E.G., Frat Boy. He fired the crowd up when he ran out with a Heineken mini-keg and a bottle of silly string, and was successful in starting a "Toga" chant. He faced "The Ghetto Gladiator" Trauma, who was accompanied to the ring by Don T. Trust. Trauma was not amused by Frat Boy's silly antics, and tried to squelch his party spirit with some aggressive chops, but accidentally charged into the turnbuckle at some point, and I think that led to Frat Boy getting the pin. I don't have that noted, but after the match Don T. Trust tried to get tough, and was repaid by getting shot into the turnbuckle and clotheslined hard.
Match number three was quite excellent. It pitted Alto against The Great Malaki, who I've seen face each other before and are very evenly matched. Such a great pairing let to lots of back and forth, with both men displaying a mix of impressive high-flying spots and some submission attempts. Alto pulled off a stunning 450, and later interference by Fatal 1 led to some chair usage by Malaki, who was then able to drag Alto to the center of the ring for a pin.
The fourth match featured "The Chi-town Hero" Iceman Tim Norton and Ricky Thomas. Thomas was aggressive right out of the gate, punishing Iceman until he got overconfident. Iceman mounted a comeback and was able to get the win with a diamond-cutter type finisher. He announced to the fans that this was going to be his last match, but said he wouldn't rule out the possibility of returning some day.
Next up was the Slam Championship title match, with Suicide King Nikki Sixx and Classic Colt Cabana. Cabana came out serious for once, telling the crowd that the smiley face on his jacket was not indicative of his mood. He drew some heat, insulting everyone and trying to command respect, insisting that he was going to be taking a title home. He really turned up his cowardly heel act, trying to pound on Sixx relentlessly and then scrambling for sanctuary anytime the tide turned. The match went in and out of the ring, with Cabana using his towel a couple of times and Sixx executing a nice dive into the crowd. A ref bump caused by Cabana gave him the opportunity to use a chair, but it didn't help him get the win. He tried to finish Sixx by putting both feet on the ropes in another pin attempt, and got the three, but this was spotted and the match was restarted. Sixx cracked Cabana over the head with a chair and went for a pin, but the recovered Nicholas H was not having it, and awarded the match to Cabana on account of a DQ. Sixx retained his belt as a result, and since he was frustrated with the outcome tried getting Cabana back in the ring, but Cabana hit Nicholas H again and made a hasty retreat.
So on to the World Tag Team Championship match. In this one, reigning champs the Henchmen Buddha the Beast (who looked badass in his entrance cloak) and his new partner J.T. Wolven took on Team Dammit in the form of Wille Da Bomb Richardson and Rudo Cortez. Before starting off, the crowd was informed that the belts had been stolen, and that Wolven did not trust his opponents. There was a lot of hard hits in this match, and for a while, Wolven was punished by the alternating Cortez and Richardson, but managed to hang in there and get the crowd behind him. Buddha and Wolven worked well together, and were able to get the pin after executing the Wolvenizer and a gigantic splash. Trauma was then arrested when he was found with one of the belts, and the Henchmen got in a few punches after he was subdued by handcuffs.
And then, the main event. The Alpha Male Monty Brown took on All That Steve Boz, and things kicked off with Brown informing Boz that he was gonna feel the pounce. Boz, of course, said otherwise and the match began. Lots of back and forth wrestling included Brown getting the spit slapped out of his mouth, and drawing heat when he refused to whip Boz into a bunch of chairs. Boz took a lot of punishment in this match, but showed resilience throughout, and an impressive superkick. He went for a suplex and suddenly Rudo Cortez reappeared, causing distraction so Willie Richardson could irish whip Boz. Brown capitalized on this move, hitting the pounce and then getting the pin. Richardson tried to move in on the prone Boz afterward, but then Brown made him feel the pounce was well. Boz returned to his feet for some fan appreciation, and that was pretty much it.
If anyone else was there and wants to comment on anything I might have missed, feel free.
