Keep this quote in mind from the Daily Herald article “Every other federation out there wanted to do hardcore stuff, aerial stuff, blood everywhere,” he said. “The idea my partner and I had was to bring it back to a more family friendly atmosphere and eliminate the way it was going.”
What is the main event of the next show? Texas DEATH match. The rules are to beat your opponent to an inch of his life so he can't answer the ten bell (after he gets pinned, don't wanna forget those rules in the Texas death) You can try all you want but you can't make ever show a safe family atmosphere type thing.

This is where parent responsibility comes into play as well. In the hardcore match I was describing before I would NEVER have taken a child and consider those shows of the 18+ variety. There are shows (and I put CCW and PCW into this category) that are more family oriented and I would feel comfortable in taking a 10+ year old child too - they even have rules about what language their wrestlers may use and help promote a more family friendly environment. Parent responsibility is true in all situations though. I went to see Final Destination 3 last weekend and a couple walked in with a child that looked to be about 5 years old - what idiots.

Larry, you have a valid point....in this case, it is the call of the parents. The question is....how old should any child be in order for a parent to take them to any fed? If it were my call, I took my older son to WWF when they had all of the cartoon characters like Tugboat and Warrior. He was 12. I won free tickets another time and my younger son ,The Mutt was 8. I gave them away. It is up to the parent and up to the kid.
