AWA had tons of momentum coming off Mania weekend. That was the best show they had ever run, and now it looks to be back to the same crap.

First and for most as you all may know my father Ray Cortese is battling cancer for the second time this year, he is the back bone and brains of AWA, our main focus right now is health, then wrestling, I want to thank everybody for there support and inspiration though all this, especially Fatal-23 if it were not for him AWA may have been in Danger, he has taken up some of the slack for me. Now as for you loganallen, you can disagree, fest shows are for fun, for families, and for people who would not normally attend a wrestling event, so I chose my boys. Accept for two rookies who you can leave out of this, ao are calling all these vets listed above crap, I'll let you come sit in the locker room with us, and you can tell us face to face what you think, just because one of your boys is not on the show don't start runnin your mouth because I don't like it, if you have a problem ask me first. I will take over where we (AWA Chicago) left from the Mania Weekend show when we start running our hotel shows again starting in August. I will have some of AWA's top talent to kick off the Hotel shows. We will be a force to reckend with come 07. Thank You

We've been more concerned with the health of Nick and Ray Cortese. Yes, there is more to life than just wrestling. Festival shows are good for exposure and fun for families. You can attract a crowd that you normally might not reach. If you advertise right you can really capitalize. How many indy companies are going to turn down a paid show? There you go Mr. Allen. I wanted to make sure you were abreast with status of AWA Chicago. Alto had fractured his wrist over the weekend and I wish him a quick and full recovery. One of the very few workers who can mix theory with high flying. Lets talk about something a little more serious. Sirius radio. I said it bitches. I got that sh*t for Fathers Day and I can't turn it off. I get like 4 hip hop stations. From old school Big Daddy Kane and KRS One to some new Nas and Glasses Malone (Black Wallstreet) bangin' that west coast sh*t. It's worth that $13 a month son!

In all seriousness, best wishes to Ray. I had the pleasure of meeting him last August at the big show w/ Corino. He took great care of me and I hope he has a speedy and full recovery.

how long is alto out for? About 2 months. He will know more this week. He wanted to wrestle the next for NBWA but the doctor said that he risked ever having movement in his wrist ever again. I've wrestled Alto many times and he is a real class kid.

He called me yesterday to fill me in on what's going on and said his target date would be his next Powerhouse booking on Aug. 26th. That's best case scenario if the surgery goes well. Here's to hoping that's the case.

Thanks Diego for being a true professional. I know Fighter and myself gave you a hard time earlier this year but I've worked with Diego for two years and he has always been professional. Look forward to seeing you on July 2nd & 3rd.

Diego you are truley one of the most professional workers out there. The guy helps with set up and break down, he arives 2 to 3 hours before an event, and he puts on a very solid entertaining match, the guy gives 100% all day. Good to have you back Diego.
