You know what always stumps me? When people from "down south" b*tch about the fact that everyone rags on their promotions and workers. The website addy is www.chicagoprowrestling.com, you should be grateful that Chris allows you to post advertisements for shows that are nowhere close to Chicago. A vast majority of people on this board are from the Chicagoland area and most of us are unwilling to drive to southern Illinois to see an unproven promotion. As far as trained/untrained argument goes, until the credentials of the trainers are shown, they will always be considered yarders, at least in my book.

I actually did make the drive to NGW.
Brett, Kyle, and Madman got some bookings because of it. Everything else I saw was not that good.
Talon, Your statement about apocolypse makes me realize you truly have no idea what you are talking about. He's a big guy that looks like Ron Harris and does a senton. End of story

I think you've been drinking too much of PWI's kool-aid... I guess the more and more the downstaters get booked in Chicago, the more and more demonstrated your absolute ignornance will be shown.

talon in no way was me giving mvp a concussion something to brag about. its was a horribly mistimed kick and is the sole reason why i no longer use the kick in ANY match i wrestle in.

I am not sure of this PWI Kool-Aid that you speak of. If by drinking the kool-aid you mean, having common sense then your absolutely correct. I've been drinking that kool-aid for quite a while now. If some random person were to come to me and ask who I would recommend as a wrestling trainer in the state of Illinois. I would immediately rattle off Danny Daniels, Eric Priest, or Rockin' Randy. Tehir credentials speak for themselves. This is just a list of credentials off the top of my head. Danny Daniels trained by Al Snow Has worked for ECW, ROH, TNA, and was booked on the most recent ECWA Super 8 show until an injury forced him not to be able to compete Past student include - Tyler Black & Marek Brave Eric Priest trained by Danny Dominion & Ace Steel Has worked for WWF, was the youngest AWA champion, and has even competed overseas. Past students include - Justin Kage, Chandler McClure(who recently had a dark match) Bryce Benjamin and many others Rockin Randy Has worked for WWF, USWA, and everywhere in-between Has contacts throughout N. America Past students include - WWF's Kasey James, Matt Longtime, and many more What were the NGW's trainers credentials again? As far as my ignorance goes, if Joe Schmo promotion wants to book a bunch of untrained/unsafe kids, that is their perogative, not mine.

You're right Kyle. I was simply pointing out that prior to that, your kicks were & still are lethal. To everyone else... I merely tried to post an upcoming show & got drug into trying to defend a promotion. Regardless of what some of you may think, there IS talent in this promotion. Some of you seem to think I have no idea what I am talking about. To those I say you must remember that I've seen alot of shows (nearly every one) of the best promotions to come along before it capsized. RCW had major talents, & after witnessing that, I don't go out & say that just anyone is great. Well aside from that whole WWA brainwashing thing I went through.

WOW, you chicago people REALLY know EVERYTHING dont you?
I myself have been trained BY THE MADMAN, GIno Latino, and NGW's promoter ALex Larson. All 3 guys with great skill. All 3 taught me well. Madman taught me the basics, Gino taught me about the crowd interaction, and Alex (MCTripC) taught me more about the selling and realism than I thought possible.
OH YEAH, I have also learned in training seminars from Colt, Shane Douglas, Shark BOy, Abyss, Delirious, Sydal, Jerry Lynn, and the more recent one Austin Aries. Aries himself said he felt that these two others in the clinic: "Kid" Jason Lyte and Donovan Cain were very close if not then already ready for IWA MS. Then he told me once I lose a little more fat and get even more of a tan, I would be ready for IWA MS.
That is all beside the point as those individuals dont work NGW. I DO. Most of them are not yarders. Alex was trained by Deacon Hobbs, whom was trained by LES THATCHER. Alex knows what he is doing. That is why NGW is by far the best Central IL fed. I have seen some Chicago work, and some Chicago workers, and they dont impress me as much as NGW. NWA Midwest and AAW-A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN. I consider them the AAA best of the minor leagues-with NGW being AA.
I think you should actually get some specific info on what ur bashing before u bash it, but alas, ducetrey and johnson and others wont. They just like to talk sh*t.
Oh yeah, BTW, Stumpy was TRAINED by Rockin Randy, and he was on your list of credentials.
And if you want to look at a 6-year PROVEN fed like NGW, and call them a Joe Schmo promotion with untrained wrestlers, that is your un-knowledgable (about NGW that is) opinion.
Thank you and I for the moment rest my case.

Chris invited us... actually found us thru myspace and invited us to be apart of this board... we never came around looking for somewhere to shill our shows.. so it may say Chicago all it wants in the title but right below it says Independant Wrestling in the Midwest... I believe that covers a larger area then Chicago
