midwestsmarts: great questions and again I will say I put up this post at friend's request. I am also not one to defend Armoni, but 2 noteable people one I know for a fact he has trained is Silas Young and the other I believe is Austin Aries (Star). Maybe as a person he maybe he is not a great person, but as a trainer who knows. I guess people will have to make up their own minds.

ALLEGED...even you said this twice. If you've been around indy wrestling for ant length of time you know there's always rumors about everyone. This is an extremely serious accusation. If someone has any proof at all it should immediately be brought to authorities. If there is no proof and some people get their kicks out of spreading unsubstantiated rumors because they have some stupid wrestling heat with someone else, an intelligent and empathtic person doesn't perpetuate this non-sense.
I've known Mike for many years. I've been around Milwaukee wrestling for years. And NEVER heard this stuff until this Chicago wrestling board. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But in this country, people are INNOCENT until PROVEN quilty. If you have evidence, take it where it needs to go. Otherwise what's the sick kick out of attempting to hurt him in this fashion because he didn't book you, or some other stupid indy wrestling thing?
I might add it's real easy to pick on him here, because he doesn't even own or use a computer to be aware of this stuff.
Because there are zero legal qualifications to say who is qualified to be a wrestling trainer, it's simply caveat emptor regarding potential wrestling students shopping for a school. However, he HAS wrestled WWF/WWE, been wrestling for probably 15 years and to mention at least on established name who would vouch for his training ability...how about Austin Aries, or do you want to make a baseless accusation about him too?
You know... Mike can be obnoxious, and God knows I have my differences with him about various things, as we all do with each other, but I for one am not going to try to destroy him or any one else by piling on on a wrestling page where we all know what kind of childish things are said.
It's called maturity.

Actually....Armani has been around 10 years. 10 years of Indies of mixed quality, many of which are flat out embarassing. It may seem longer because the guy looks ancient. His vaunted rep includes trying to lure students away from established trainers, such as when he attempted to do so with Matt Longtime years ago when he was training with GLCW. It also includes scouting backyard feds for "talent" to "train" at a discount rate. In the real world, we call those people "scabs", do we not?
You could also question why an alleged professional feels the need to get an autographed photo signed to him from any "name" he shares a locker room with. That, sir, is something that is considered taboo if you are categorizing yourself as a professional in the wrestling industry. I can't remember, however, if he got the autographed photo of George Steele before or after Steele chewed him a new a$$hole for trying to tell him what to do. Then there was the WWE taping where Saturn beat the pi$$ out of him. Then there was the WWE taping where he tried to give his opinions to Stephanie McMahon....yeah, THAT Stephanie McMahon. Oddly enough, he has not been welcomed back since then.
As for talent he has trained, Aries has gone on record that Eddie Sharkey trained him. Armani may have tried to tell him what to do at some point, like he does with everyone else. But that would probably be about it. As for Silas Young, one could argue that maybe Armani would be better off talking him OUT of the wrestling business, when you take into consideration his recent string of no-shows and public meltdowns like the one in Milwaukee at a BCW event.
You can come up with a lot of terms for Armani. A professional wrestler isn't one of those terms.

This was my point exactly that because some people are bothered about all these other wrestling related things regarding (MOD EDIT- no real names without that person's O.K.)), aka Angel Armani - many of which you mentioned I agree completely with - they feel a need to take it outside the wrestling world and accuse him, or just as bad use innuendo, about his personal life.
This is taking a cheap shot because if there was any real evidence the police should be involved. If you know something but don't report it, in my opinion you're just as quilty.
But nobody has reported anything because we're dealing with 20-30-something testerone-fueled pre-adult marks here.
What was very telling is that when my last post asked for evidence of the accusation, midwestsmarts avoided it all together in lieu of talking about what he doesn't like about Armani professionally.
It's fair to not like him personally or professionally, to accuse him of a heinous crime without evidence is not only unfair, it is likely slander/libel.
And yes, like it or not, Armani IS a professional wrestler as there is no universally agreed upon definition of what a professional wrestler is. Although mine might be "One who is paid to entertain in a wrestling environment" ~ Mike certainly does get paid to entertain in this fashion.
