New NWA Women's World Champion Crowned
On Saturday Night Jan 27th in Lebanon TN, 162 people witnessed as Ms Chif defeated Christie Ricci in the middle of the squared circle to become the new NWA Women's World Champion.
As the match was going back and forth between the two contestants, Tasha Simone who had words with Christie earlier in the night had to interject herself and distract both Christie Ricci and the referee. When Christie turned around Ms Chif sprayed the green mist but Christie ducked and it hit the referee directly in the face blinding him. As Christie was trying to assist the referee, another referee came to ring side to assist also, and Ms Chif caught Christie off guard and as she turned, Ms Chif sprayed the green mist once again and hit Christie dead on. Christie fell to the mat holding her eyes and screaming and Ms Chif rolled her up for the 1 - 2 - 3. And a new champion is crowned!
Congratulations to Ms Chif on this accomplishment in her career!
Due to this win by Ms Chif the match with Josie is now for the NWA Worlds Women's Championship. Josie's NWA Midwest Women's Title will not be on the line.

Just saw on the NWA Midwest site that Jay Lethal's gonna be on the card in a Midwest X Title match vs. Champion Jason Dukes. Its good to see Lethal working in this area more (at the last NWA Midwest show as well as at IWA in Midlo at the end of last November.)
