I also noticed a lot of people just don't back up their statements with specifics. I'm on the PCW roster and all of the bashing doesn't bother me anymore. Since I started training with PCW almost a year ago, at no time has anyone treated me poorly. I feel that I have been treated with respect by everyone on the roster from top to bottom. I have also noticed other workers from the outside are beginning to join PCW. That in itself says a lot. There are some athletic/talented workers in the company, the pay is good (hell, I'd do it for free), and the trainers are more than willing to help out a rookie. If anything, the bashing motivates me to better myself and the others on the roster. So anyway...... getting back to the original topic..... come out on the 17th and check out the event. You may like what you see. first of all.... if it doesn't bother you... don't answer... Cuz you are just playing right into their hands.. Only listen to your trainers, period! this message board is getting just as bad as the old one...

I'll state something without bashing PCW. I think thier guys work really hard. I really do. I even see a couple guys that show a lot of potential. My complaint would be that with the 50 mile rule (this is still in effect, correct?) that the guys get a very narrow minded view of the biz. The world outside PCW is much much different. I also question some of the guys that I hear are the trainers. Not to say I should be a trainer. I shouldn't. I don't believe I'm the most qualified person to do that. But I think the biggest problem is that the guys that have been there, refuse to realize that there is a world outside of their company and do nothing to better themselves. And that's a shame cause it short changes the younger guys.
There. A well, thought out comment that doesn't bash anyone... I welcome the first post of "DDS is a fat f'n c@#t!"

''this message board is getting just as bad as the old one... ''
Really? The last two bashers of PCW got called out by me in public and banned for two weeks respectively due to their generalizations.
Tell me how you think things can be improved rather than complain about the old board and how it was(n't) run compared to how I choose to handle things here otherwise you're just as bad as the guys who bash without specifics.
Get my drift, bamm?

DDS, the "fifty" mile rule went away back during the AAW split. And, on behalf or our wrestlers "Thanks", but whatever potential you see must be from second hand reports from the MSPW wrestlers who have attended our shows, because I haven't seen you at one since Dream Night 1.
Not trying to stir anything up. Just pointing it out. Come to one of our shows, Danny, we'd love to have you in the audience.

But, just letting you know, I don't pay to see an indy show. I know other guys do, but that's one thing I learned from Dominion. And I have heard that guys are not allowed to work outside of PCW. Main reason I heard that was because we considered using one or two of them but were told they were "Under contract".

Didn't Tony Rican and Mike Horning work for both PCW & MSPW at the same time? Wouldn't that have been a problem if they had a 50 mile rule. I also remember one of the CIA members wrestling for CCW. One more question; is there somethine wrong with one wrestling promoter paying to see anothers show?

One of these months i'm gonna go to another PCW show (haven't been since October 05) and see what has changed if anything. I don't say much about PCW just because I haven't seen them in a while. oh and DDS you're a fat f'n c@#t.

But i was told from the guys that wanted to work for us that they were not allowed to. And yes there is a problem with a promoter or worker paying to see another show... If danny sees this thread, I would love to hear his take on it. He's who I learned it from.

The only "Under Contract" I've heard of is if the person hasn't finished paying for their training. I mean personally, I think the more people you work with the better of a wrestler you become. But that's just how I see it. To my Knowledge PCW guys can work other shows as long as they don't conflict dates.
