Things that can't be used... Lighttubes... Knives, daggers, guns, etc... After that, it's pretty much anyone's guess as to what will be used... Higher profile matches, JJ? Come on now. Silas vs Lynn? A fans bring the Weapons match? Hades vs. Flannery? 2 out of 3 falls for the Tag belts? That's FOUR huge matches... plus Prince Ali... There's only one person left off the show... I wasn't saying those matches weren't high profile. I was saying was that really the final final card with still a month to go? To revise what i said earlier about a couple matches i think could be left off the card and replaced with something more high profile, I would think just one match...not a couple. The matches you mentioned sound great, i was just wondering if there was anymore....sorry i'm not in the wrestling business and i don't always take into consideration that 8 matches could take up the whole 3 hours. And who got left off Legacy? You said one person...other than Mickey McCoy? and what about a bag-o-thumbtacks? is THAT at least allowed? |

Actually, the only guy left off is the guy i'm not allowed to mention anymore because people on this board are panty waistes.... yes, i said panty waistes...
Mickey McCoy recently had shoulder surgery. Out at LEAST until september... I think a bag would be acceptable, yes... if you're going to get the bag, you might as well make CDK's fav weapon...

actually, you're best bet is to the find the most retarded possible item that will excite the crowd. Last year's thing was a James brown bobblehead...

I was at a fans bring weapons match before at MSPW and someone brought a nintendo or something and then someone brought a care bear with needles in it or something...nah i'll leave the originality with the silly things to the other fans...i want blood!!! |

I wonder if anyone has ever made a barbed wire or thumbtack hockey stick? Been there, done that. As a matter of fact, for an IWA show last June, I think it was Ian/Pondo vs Craig/Corp FBTW, I took a KOHO hockey stick and taped 2 light bulbs to the head, and glued thumbtacks on 2 sides of the shaft, and taped lighttubes to the other 2 sides. All I know is that my favorite part of Fans Bring The Weapons matches is the creativity involved in some of the weapons. I mean hell, i've seen some IWA and CZW people get nuts with the creativity. I agree with DDS though, try and find some ridiculous things to bring. Here's some of the most ridiculous things I've seen at FBTW. - Goldberg huge plastic bottle filled with peanuts - Barbed wire Tickle Me Elmo strapped to a lighttube covered walker - David Cassidy's "Rock Me Baby" in vinyl, wrapped in barbed wire. - Iowa State Rec. Dept road sign - A football helmed filled with cottage cheese ( I am dead serious) And for whoever doesn't know what my favorite weapons is im referring to, go to about 1:55 into this video: |
