To get back on track...Eric's a great guy & a VET. Some may not like him...but he's never had a bad match at ANY of the MANY shows I've seen him on. He's a standup guy & I respect the hell out of him. He was actually the man who gave me my first "rib".

I will say that nobody gets a crowd going like Eric Freedom....nobody.

stand up guy? You're right, nobody can get a crowd going better. Really, put nobody in the ring, tell them Eric Freedumb won't be there.. that'll get a lot of crowds going.
All hype and doesn't deliver.
Not 100% sure of the context of INDYROCKSTARS thread but i have seen it and have been in the ring with Freedom a few timesx myself and he can pop a crowd with just doing good old school style of working and not delivering the usual 3 spots, superplex off the top rope and hurricarana off the top of the high school gym bleachers and the guy still kicks out @ one or two and this is all in the first 3-5 minutes of most of what is out there today. I would never have an issue with putting Freedom on any show because the man brings a lot to the table besides fruit loops and boosts morale in the dressing room.

When I think of Eric Freedom, I think of the time several years ago when the Iron Sheik put Freedom in the camel clutch in Streator. Freedom was one of the most hated workers in Powerhouse's stable at the time.
Then I think of the CCW show in Woodstock when he won the title from Forsaken. He was so over with the crowd that it was deafening that night.
To me, that shows that Eric understands his role as either a heel or a face quite well. I've always enjoyed his work and feel lucky to be able to travel to Michigan to see the shows his group puts on there as well as being able to count Eric as a friend.
No wrestler is everyone's cup of tea, but I do enjoy watching him work.
Starman has spoken.

i figured i'd change my post,was a little harsh.
I'm not a fan of him, but I have to have respect for him and where he has gone in the business. And he can take care of a crowd well. There are just other things.
