ElitePro Wrestling made their debut in Oak Forest, IL in grand fashion on Friday night, August 3.
1) Kimberly Kash defeated Candice LaRae by pinfall after hitting a face-buster across the knee.
2) "Believe It or Not" Jeff Brooks, Kid Hybrd & "Waterboy" Mike Horning defeated "6% Body Fat" Rob James, "Megastar" Marion Fontaine & Jake O'Neill by pinfall after Brooks hit a beautiful Shooting Star Press on Fontaine to get the victory.
"The Real Deal" Jay Jensen requested interview time where he explained to the crowd in Oak Forest the history between himself and Maverick. He teased challenging his former partner to a match right then, but then decided against it.
3) Prince Arya w/ Jake O'Neal defeated Ricochet by submission with the Al-Qaeda Clutch. After the match, Arya and O'Neal continued to beat down Ricochet until Jason Hades ran them off.
4) "The Impact Bully" Brandon Thomaselli and Dysfunction ended in a double countout after both men ignored the referee and continue to brawl on the outside.
The Iron Saints came to the ring to run down their opponents in the main event of the evening, The Naptown Dragons. Drake Younger and Scotty Vortekz came out and told the ElitePro & IWA MidSouth Tag Team Champions that they would beat the respect out of them later tonight. The Thomaselli's claimed to be the best tag team in wrestling which prompted the biggest surprise of the evening when the KINGS OF WRESTLING, Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli, made an appearance. Hero took the mic and ran down the resume of their tag team, naming the CHIKARA, CZW and ROH belts as accomplishments. Hero went on to point out that one promotion's tag team titles have eluded them to this point, that being the IWA MidSouth Tag Team Titles. Hero challenged the Iron Saints to put the IWA belts on the line and make the match a three-way dance. The Saints begrudgingly accepted, claiming they would prove that they were everything they claimed to be.
5) "The Human Highlight Reel" Acid, "The Monster" Synn & The Double M defeated The Night Breed & Stryc-9 w/Kimberly Kash by pinfall after Stryc-9 was hit with a Filet of Sole superkick by Double M, a swinging Rock Bottom by Synn and a springboard 450 by Acid in succession.
6) Chuck Taylor defeated Jason Hades with an Omega Driver out of the corner. The match was fast-paced and saw Taylor counter the Killswitch by standing up and backing into a corner.
7) ElitePro Championship Match: Chase "The Face" Richards defeated "Sweet & Sour" Larry Sweeney after Dysfunction pushed Sweeney off the top rope, allowing Richards to hit his version of the Go 2 Sleep for the pin. Before the match, Dysfunction came out and challenged the winner of the match to an ElitePro Championship Match next month.
8) ElitePro & IWA MidSouth Tag Team Championship Match: The Iron Saints defeated The Naptown Dragons and The Kings of Wrestling after Sal blindly tagged in and stole the pinfall after Hero & Claudio had the match won. Too much action to write here. There were Giant Swings, Airplane Spins, stiff strikes, head-droppery and high flying. This match had it all. Must see stuff.
ElitePro Wrestling continues it's first-ever Double Shot Weekend on Saturday, August 4 in Steger, IL at the VFW Hall.
