Fire Pro Wrestling: Dec. 8th DEFIANT results
1. “the Moustache Model” Carl Morris vs Jeffie Agner w/ Syn
-Jeffie and Syn continued to cheat throughout the match, which brought out Carl’s tag team partner, Gilbert Lewis. This match then turned into a tag team match. The ending came when the team the Groucho Marks (Gilbert + Morris) def. Jeffie with the battering ram.
-the Fire Pro Commissioner, “the Big Jack” John Burke came out and called “Diehard” Steve Szoke out for a requested question to the new commish. Szoke and Hayden Kent came out and Szoke informed the crowd that he is currently undergoing 8 weeks of radiation and is currently hooked up to chemo 24/7 for the duration of the radiation treatments and he could not wrestle tonight. However, since he was to get a title shot against Cade Lee, would Burke allow Szoke to give the match to someone of his choosing. Cade Lee came out and told Burke this was unfair and that since Szoke can’t wrestle, he should get the night off. Burke told Cade that he believes the title should be defended and allowed Szoke to name his protégé, Hayden Kent as his replacement.
2. “the Regulator” Tristin Hayze def. Devon Fury
-“Handsome” Kenny Courageous came out and distracted Devon, enabling Hayze to get the pinfall.
3. “Da Juggernaught” Osyris def. “the Master Technician” Jay Phoenix
4. 24/7 Hard Target 6 Man Scramble: “Flawless” Dave Allen won by pinning “Hot Bod” Shawn Davis (other contestants included Prince Ali, “the Blue Dynamo” Fuzion, Christopher Kent and Gilbert Lewis)
-after the match, Burke came out and told Allen that he was impressed with him recapturing the 24/7 Hard Target Title and that next month (Fire Pro’s 2nd Anniversary), there would be a 4-way Ladder Match for the 24/7 Hard Target Title.
5. Celtic Cross (Angus McDuff + the Crusader) def. the Newer Breed (“Handsome” Kenny Courageous + “Luscious” Louis Linaris) when Devon Fury came to ringside and caused the distraction enabling the Crusader to score the pin.
6. Pride Title Match: Chase “the Face” Richards def. Parker James
-after the match, Tristin Hayze ran in and nailed Chase in the face with his boot. Kenny Courageous came out and began putting the boots to Chase alongside Hayze. Kenny informed Hayze that he continues to loose tag matches because of his “loser” partners and asks Hayze to tag up with him next show. This brought out Devon Fury who labeled Hayze with a clothesline. Hayze and Kenny bailed out of the ring to meet Burke at the entrance way. Burke made the match for the next show, Kenny + Tristin Hayze (who Hayze referred to as the “Best Breed”) against Chase + Devon Fury.
7. Fire Pro Tag Team Title Match: Risk Factor (Roach + Jynx) def. the Uprising (Hadley + Rojas)
-after the match, Hadley and Rojas tried exacting some revenge on Risk Factor, but Risk Factor was still riding high from the win and threw both members of Uprising out of the ring. It is clear that things are not resolved between these two teams.
8. Fire Pro Heavyweight Title: Cade Lee w/ Lynn Marie def. Hayden Kent w/ Steve Szoke
-in the match, Hayden Kent hit a top rope shoulder tackle on Cade Lee and Lynn Marie came in the ring to help get Cade Lee on his feet. Szoke came in wondering what was happening. Cade Lee stood up, swung at Szoke and Szoke aimed high going for a big boot to Cade Lee’s face. Unfortunately, Cade Lee dropped down and Szoke blasted Lynn in the face. While Szoke was trying to get Lynn out of the ring, Hayden was momentarily distracted long enough to receive a stiff lariat from Cade Lee for the pin.
