Pro Championship Wrestling was back in action at Midlothian. With almost twice as many chairs set up as usual it was still standing room only for a very enthusiastic, fantastic crowd.
Show started with PL Myers and the Chicago Connection confronting the commisioner the Shnog. Myers claimed that Santanna Starks of Body Count was physically unable to defend the tag team titles. Shnog gave Body Count a by, but only because he didn't want to deprive Mixed Breed of their eventual rematch.
Tammy Lynn Sytch aka Sunny, came out and confronted PL Myers. Myers explained how he had beaten up Bobby Heenan and that he was the greatest wrestling manager of all time. Sunny explained that they had both managed the Road Warriors, but Myers had never managed any WWE tag team champions. She then made a bet with Myers. If Jay Phoenix won his match, she would announce to the world that PL was the greatest manager of all times. If her man won, than Myers would have to kiss Phoenix's feet. The bet was made, and as everyone left Myers announced Ares's opponent for his first defense of the heavyweight title.
HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Ares (c) def. "American Classic" Chris Hamilton
Hamilton had some near falls but was unable to keep up with Ares's physicality. Ares cought Hamilton in a rear naked choke forcing the former Alternative champion to tap out.
Mixed Breed def. The Foreign Exchange
Uzi Akiva and Jean-Paul Bassay were announced as Mixed Breed's opponents replacing Body Count. The former tag team champions made short work of the foreigners in a very hard-hitting match. After the pinfall, Body Count and Myers hit the ring and aided the Exchange in beating up Rion Skillz and Rik Rockett. The old Chicago Connection music hit, and Rick Knight came out with a chair nailing PL Myers, while Whiplash slipped in behind the others and hit Daniel Allure with another chair. As the Connection retreated Whiplash pointed at Body Count, then hit a brain buster on Uzi Akiva.
Jarod Priest and Sacrifice goes to Double DQ
Another blockbuster match where both men pushed each other as hard as they could. Tempers flared when neither man could put the other away and they both punched referee Patrick G. Head ref, Lou Tufano called for the bell and declared a double DQ.
Sacrifice was then taken to a hospital for a concussion from a hard enziguri he took from Priest. PCW wishes him a speedy recovery.
MIDWEST TITLE
"Hot Bod" Shawn Davis w/ Tammy Lynn Sytch def. "Master Technician" Jay Phoenix w/PL Myers
A very competitive match. Both Myers and Sytch did their part, with Myers regularly cheating to trip up Davis and even Tammy got up and crotched Jay Phoenix while he was on the turnbuckle. After several near falls, Davis got the pinfall with the flying elbow to regain the PCW Midwest championship and break up the Connection's monopoly on the titles. Tammy then announced she'd changed her mind, PL wouldn't have to kiss Phoenix's feet. He'd kiss Davis's. A disgusted PL then had to kiss Shawn's sweaty foot before running off in shame.
After Tammy Lynn left the ring, Davis was confronted by "the Feature Presentation" Johnny Mac. Mac reminded everyone that it was at Midlothian he's surrendered the Midwest title after he'd become the heavyweight champion. Since he never lost the Midwest belt he was now demanding back "His" title. Davis heard enough and slammed the belt into Mac's face, not once but twice, before leaving to the cheers of the fans.
GLADIATOR BOWL
"Party Animal" Wally Wilde def. Uzi Akiva to earn a shot at the heavyweight title at Dream Night 7
The entire PCW locker room entered this Royal Rumble style elimination match to see who'd main event Dream Night. Highlights included a break dance competition between two masked wrestlers (Supposedly the Conquistodors) in the beginning of the match, The Gridiron Grapplers coming out as the injured CIA and letting December, their cheerleader, eliminate them. Butcher was in the final six but got pulled out of the ring by Ares who was doing commentary. Afterwards, Ares clocked Butcher with the heavyweight title. The end came when Wally Wilde eliminated Uzi Akiva to win the match. He was confronted by Ares who told him he'd see him at Dream Night.
