The issue here is simple, Crimey feels he has to be the voice of the downstate crowd for some unknown reason. I am sure if you were to ask most of the downstate talent they would prefer that Crimey not speak on their behalf but continue to report results (minus his personal commentary).
That being said, I am sure if some of the downstate talent took the effort to contact upstate companies there would be no issue in getting bookings. Granted not all downstate talent is ready to break through the i-80 glass ceiling (which is probably more of a clear plastic wrapped window). From what I have seen there is a lot of talent in the central Illinois region that is more than happy to stay in that area and play wrestler on the weekends. This is probably true with some of the talent that is above the i-80 plastic wrapped window and I know it is true down in the STL area as I see it every weekend down here (and consider myself to be someone who is to old so I am happy to try and play wrestler when I can).
The issue always seems to revolve around what Crimey sees as an issue more so than what any talent has said. So Crimey if you want to continue with this line of thinking, present some information from an actual downstate wrestler who feels he has been held back after contacting an organization who is above that I-80 plastic wrapped window. Get a wrestler to acknowledge that he has been denied a booking because he was a downstate worker, not because the company had a full booking already but a company who told a worker that he was not of the level to work above the i-80 plastic wrapped window. You get that information or better yet have the worker come on here and state that he was told this (he doesnt need to say which org told him this) and then I will never comment on one of your posts about the i-80 plastic wrapped window.
