A near capacity crowd was on hand at The Dojo to witness an eight match card. Here's what resulted.
Opening Match: In Tag-Team Action, Jeff Luxon & Marshe Rocket defeated Los Mexicanos w/C-red as Luxon's Boston Crab was the difference.
After the match, the two teams agreed to rematch on February 8th with a stipulation. The loser has to wear a dress but if Los Mexicanos loses, C-red will have a new get-up instead of his team.
In his WAR Debut, The Junkyard Dog Jr. w/ manager PL Myers & "Iceman" Tim Norton defeated The Butcher w/ the beautiful and talented Sam Hart due to overwhelming interference by PL and The Iceman. Steve Boz ran in to get PL's Corporation off of The Butcher and the beautiful and talented Sam Hart, who herself was devastated by Norton.
Prince Ali w/PL Myers (who was an 11th hour addition to the card) had little difficulty in defeating the young upstart Dave Rydell.
Isasis Velazquez w/C-red & Los Mexicanos defeated Chris Sader after capitalizing on Sader's missed leg-drop.
After that match, Steve Boz made a run-in rescue for Chris Sader when all of Los Mexicanos were triple teaming Sader.
In a rematch from Black Wednesday, The Southsiders (The Nightbreed) evened the score with The Northsiders (Steve Boz & The Butcher) when The Nightbreed took advantage of a double-team gaffe by The Butcher. After losing his singles match earlier in the night, The Butcher was actually a substitute partner for Boz due to an Adam Evans car accident earlier in the day and The Butcher wasn't exactly 100% for the match after his earlier beating from Norton & JYD Jr. Boz blamed his stand-in partner for their loss publicly but The Butcher willingly took responsibility.
For The Main Event, it was time for The Nickie Sixx 4-Man Championship Gauntlet Invitational as Acid Jazz had to survive the challenge of three men to keep possession of his WAR Heavyweight Championship. Here's how it broke down as there was three matches:
Match #1: Jazz dispatched Gavin Dunn faster than you could get a Big Mac at The Drive-Thru.
Match #2: Jazz & POWW Superstar Brandon Bishop wrestled to a 20 minute draw.
Match #3 saw a lot more mayhem as Jamie Dundee entered the fray as both Jazz & Bishop both advanced due to pre-match stipulations. Actually to the pleasure of both Jazz & Bishop, they got a breather as the former JC Ice got on the microphone. He went off on the crowd as well as The WAR roster calling all of them a bunch of weekend warriors while bragging about his extended resume. After that and about 10 minutes of action, Brandon Bishop was disqualified by the outside referee for not breaking a choke on Acid Jazz by the count of five. That ref was put there by Nickie Sixx so he could be the in-ring referee right before the three way dance was underway.
The match resumed with Jazz vs. Dundee as Acid Jazz seemingly had Dundee beat on numerous occasions but due to his bias against Jazz, Nickie Sixx couldn't make that final 3 count twice as he complained about "pain in his casted arm." Much to the dismay of the outside referee, he got on the canvas to admonish Nickie but he was knocked unconscious out on the floor after the two combatants ran into him. Steve Boz then ran out, took the shirt off the injured referee, and assumed his post. After one more Nickie "two count," Acid Jazz was disqualified when Boz struck Dundee from outside of the ring.
Due to one of the pre-match stipulations, the people thought Dundee would get the championship via DQ. However, with Boz as the psuedo, outside referee, it was determined by Nickie that simply a rematch between Acid Jazz & Jamie Dundee will take place at The Dojo on February 8th for The War Heavyweight Championship. With enthusiasm, Jamie Dundee accepted another opprotunity at the title by telling Jazz that he wanted him fresh so there wouldn't be any excuses!!
On February 8th, were back at The Dojo on Feb. 8th at 8PM!!!!!
