Those that missed out on the VWAA Industrial Studio show on 2-23-08, missed the start of many things. Where will things lead? Only time and certain individuals can say.
The night started with two firsts. 16 year old VWAA rookie Poochie Gobble debuted in his first match against Don The Destroyer Kohler who also debuted for his first VWAA match. Although this was an exhibition challenge, the two fought like a title was on the line. It seems that they both realized that this match could make or break their newly-spawned career. The fans were clearly behind Poochie, who as odd as his name is, came to the ring to even stranger entrance music, The Chicken Dance. The charisma of this kid had fans clapping along as well as doing the dance. Infectious? Don The Destroyer didn’t think so. Kohler came to the ring already angered at the lack of seriousness and took his discord out on the fans first, and then on Gobble. The kid put up a good fight, but the mammoth 315 pound Kohler splashed Poochie nearly through the ring and gained his first win.

Recently, Lamar Titan has taken to tussling with the Tribal Alliance. He had a victory over Tunica and went for the Indian combo win over the Natives, but unfortunately for Titan, Squanto was on a war-path of vengeance. The Indian Desperado brought his “a” game to the table and matched Titan quite evenly. Titan fought back by literally trying to put Squanto through a wall, but it was Squanto who pulled out a surprise upset victory over Lamar Titan.

Shockingly, The GYMW put up a good fight for Team KO. Many people have come to assume that simply seeing the words “GYMW” means losers, and perhaps this has motivated Sal DiNero to begin a new training regimen. Even Giuseppe #1 wrestled like a man on a mission. Team KO was on the defensive for most of this match. Sal & #1 were able to counter most of KO’s offensive moves, but once Ovirload & Kuan found their gaming groove, there was no chance for The GYMW to level up.

The main event saw a slight change due mostly to the all mighty dollar. Earlier, Studd Muffin sauntered toward the ring with microphone in hand ready to regale the audience on hand with news of his most recent acquisition. The Urban Gladiator Trauma had come over to join Studd Muffin in his version of the Vanguard VIP Family. That alone is an entire other story, but then Studd called for one Don T Trust to come to the ring. To make a long story short, Trust paid a large amount of money to The VIP Family to allow The Arabian Death Dealer to take the place of Dameon Dunn for the night. The main event was now Trauma & ADD against the fan favorite team of Jordan Pryde & The VWAA Circuit Champion Isaias Velazquez. Anyone missing this match missed four top VWAA stars giving quite literally their all. The action that transpired defy simple words, and the end of the match had Team KO coming to the rescue of Pryde & Velazquez. Who did they need rescuing from? Those questions are all answered at www.vwaawrestling.com in special interviews and will be available on an upcoming Vanguard On-Line.
