The show opened with Wally Wilde about to make an announcement, but found himself interrupted by the masked phenom, Fuzion, who wanted to test himself against the best and challenged Wally to a match. The match was fast back and forth with Fuzion even jumping off the ref's back to deliever a clothesline at one point. "Master Technician" Jay Phoenix w/PL Myers vs Butcher w/the beautiful and talented Sam Hart
This was a physical match that began with an out of ring brawl almost immediately. Phoenix hit shoulder-breakers, T-bone suplexes and applied his broken wing submission but couldn't beat Butcher. Butcher hit his Iron Claw, but Phoenix got him on his shoulders and hit the Phoenix bomb. While Ares distracted the ref, PL slid his cane in and Phoenix used it to beat down the Butcher. Butcher was busted open and lost a lot of blood as Phoenix re-applied the Broken Wing and did what many thought was impossible, he got Butcher to tap out.
