Arenas De Chicago, Humble Pie Films, and Klinger Promotions will TEAM UP to bring you this unbelievable event at a price only a fool would say no to!
Although details are very limited at this time the excitement level with everyone invloved is so HIGH that we MUST announce this right now!
Lets start with local wrestlers who are well on they're way to the top! If you don't already know by now The Great Malaki and Bazooka have been casted by Humble Pie Films to play pro wrestlers in they're upcoming movie " Fancy Pants " which will be released in theaters and later on DVD and Blue Ray! Great Malaki is also the trainer for all actors involved in stunts and wrestling sequences in the movie. We at ADC are very proud of Great Malaki as he has done so much for our company and deserves everything he is getting.
On June 21st 2008 we invite you all to come to the Congress Theater for this MEGA event!!!! 35.00 gets you in the door and for that you are granted access to our all day event which will include a Klinger Promotions autograph signing with some of your favorite superstars ( to be announced ), then you will move into the Arena where you will take a seat and be able to watch the production of the movie " Fancy Pants " giving you the opportunity to appear in the movie as a fan in the crowd, and after that a full ADC lucha event! Extras in movies get paid for their time. Why should someone have to pay to be in this film?

Good question Sox, well you don't have to sit through the filming of the movie if you don't want to. We figured that it is not every day that people get to sit in and watch a movie being filmed before they're eyes. Also alot of people like to sit front row at WWE events in hopes that they will appear on camera during the show. This is pretty much the same and we figured adding it to the event would be fun for alot of people. Don't worry you wont be signing any contracts.
Our event is priced very low as is and your getting a bang for your buck. If you would like to check it out your more then welcome to do so. This is only going to get better and better as details become more available.
Honestly though I have a question for you, do you really feel like your paying to be in the film? That comment was a little uncalled for seeing as how your getting an all day pass to many things for 35.00 Please review the list above and notice that there will be many things going on that day not just the filming of the movie.

I don't think it was uncalled for. It's a legit question as to why people would pay to be extras. My question is, are they going to see a wrestling show or is the wrestling show designed to be the movie?

Reason why I say it was uncalled for was because he seemed to purposely over look everything else the show was offering just to make that comment. It is obvious your not paying 35.00 to be an extra based on everything else we are offering at the event. If I took it the wrong way then I am sorry but I have to hear from Sox to see if I indeed did take it the wrong way.
But to answer your question, yes you will get a full wrestling show after the filming of the movie has concluded. Please review the list I posted above for everything the show will include.

Rowdy Roddy Piper has been casted and will be in the movie Fancy Pants! Attend this show and you will get to see the Hot Rod himself making a movie while working with local wrestlers Great Malaki and Bazooka! This is exciting for everyone! Fans will be allowed to watch a legend making a movie on set!
Event time has now been changed to 1pm and yes this will still be an all day event!

I was not trying to make waves with my comment.
I just know that when movies are filmed during sporting events, such as a baseball game, the fans still get paid to be there.

That is not true in all cases but good point none the less. You have to take into consideration everything else you are paying for and not just the filming of the movie. Being able to see the filming of the movie is just an extra activity we threw into the mix, a plus for the fans if you will. This event is well worth the 35.00 without the movie production.
Now with Piper involved in the movie as well, its worth even more so if you think in terms of the low low cost of ticket prices your really the one winning. I am sure alot of fans will be interested in being able to watch Piper produce a movie.

So it's 35 dollars to see some old fat has been who isn't even going to wrestle?!?! Does the card offer anything else that is worth that ridiculous sum of money?!?! Piper is a legend and a hall of famer. I am having to try really hard to bite my tongue and not speak my thoughts on your very disrespectful comment. So I will just say this, no you will not see Piper wrestling. Piper will be there because he is casted for the movie. You will be able to see him as he is being filmed and working on the movie. More announcements are to come hopefully by today as details slowly become available. We are working on finalizing the wrestling/lucha card which will take place after the movie wraps.

So my comment is disrespectful in what way? To Piper? Ok I'm dissing him but let's face it last night's Santino Piper impersonation was very truthful in that Piper has gotten very fat and very old.
As for 35 dollars being a ridiculous sum of money I stand by that remark.I see alot of other shows being announced here, some with some legit names that WILL wrestle on their cards for more affordable prices such as twenty, fifteen and even as low as ten dollars.I don't see how you expect to draw anyone when there are alot more affordable and more appealing cards out there.
