It makes no sense why Hulk would sign any item, yet the other wrestlers wouldn't? For $99 you should be able to have your autograph on any item. That needs to be changed and clarified.

Folks, I'm getting the impression this whole Toyota Park autograph deal is still a work in progress (pun partially intended). Stip changes over the coming weeks would not surprise me. I'm just sayin'.

That's whats stopping me from getting a ticket. I want to know everything first.
Most of these signings if you bring in something they'll usually just sign it if you ask nicely. Well... actually that's from the two book signings I was at. I brought an extra book to the Bret Hart signing and he was more than happy to sign it for me as was Denis Leary when I met him and brought another book to be signed.

For those that don't want to pay $99 to meet Hogan this time around I heard he's coming back to the Borders on Michigan Avenue (awesome store, it's where I met Denis Leary back in December) on October 29... two days after his new book comes out.
That would only require to buy his book and bring it and I'm sure if you brought something else he'd be more than happy to sign it.
I just want to go to this one in case something happens and he doesn't come back in October. If he does I'll try and go to that one too. But I really want to try and make it out to the Hogan appreciation day.
Edit: Will Hogan at least personalize the autographs or is that extra?

I would not worry about something happening and him not showing up in October. I would worry about him showing up on July 10.

Sure Hogan will be at Borders for a book signing, but the problem is, will it be like the Denis Leary book signing? They made people take off their jackets and if they had bags they need to put it on a shelf, which is really lame. To me they were trying to prevent him to sign memorabilia, I had to sneek in a DVD cover for him to sign and I was threatened by one of their reps that if I do that again I would get kicked out, so I wouldn't try to go to that Borders if you are trying to get memorabilia signed. Call to make sure if he would though.

Call to make sure if he would though. I snuck in my Rescue Me guide book and he signed it with no problem. Maybe they just thought I bought it from the store? Denis Leary was real cool about it though. Talked, signed both books and got a pic. The borders in Schaumburg was really nice too and let me take in that old Bret Hart book that came out in like late '99. No one had any problems with that. Some of the employees though were telling people they couldn't bring their replica titles up there to get signed though some people arrived there just in time for the signing (people with the first set of wristbands handed out) and brought a ton of memorabilia to be signed. The Hart DVD, glasses, titles, etc. So I think if you just do it right you'd at least be able to bring in something else for Hogan to sign. By the way I bought the Hogan ticket today. I'm going to try and go to both but definitely this one at Toyota Park.

I would like to extend a hearty "good luck" to the guys over at WCPW on this event as this is a huge undertaking for them. It is an important show for indy wrestling in general I think. I mean, Chris Sader working for WCPW to aquire Hulk Hogan considering his past with them shows that burying the hatchet is not a dead term. Now, while on the subject of Hulk Hogan. Who will "The Hulkster" be wrestling the night of this show? Or, where will he be placed on the card? Is he wrestling, or just making an appearence on the show? Actually, now that I think of it, is the autograph signing the only involvement Hogan is having at Toyota Park? Does that mean he would be out of the building before the event even starts?

On the first post, they said that Hogan will not be appearing at the wrestling show, he will just be doing autographs. Hope that helps.
Since Buddy Roberts Jr. did a WCPW show in May, is there a chance to see him and Buddy Roberts at this upcoming show too?

Chris Sader himself told me that Hogan is only doing the autograph show. He won't be at the actual wrestling show. Buddy Roberts Jr. made an appearance last night at PCW's Dream Night 8. He was very friendly and signed autographs and posed for pictures with anyone who asked. He may appear at the July 10th show.

Final Update: Hulk Hogan will be signing one autograph and taking one photo per autograph ticket. No exceptions. Additional autograph and photo, you must have additional tickets. No one will be allowed in the autograph session without a autograph ticket. The other wrestlers will have an 8x10 photo provided by Toyota Park to be signed by the other legends. Or you can have one item of your own signed by the other legends, any additional items or photos with the other legends they will have their own fees. Hulk Hogan will only be appearing at the autograph session. I hope this clears everything up. The one item that Mr. Hogan will be signing per autograph ticket is any item that you bring. DvD's , belts, figures, posters, magazines. ETC. Any one item per one ticket.

PLEASE CLARRIFY THE PREVIOUS POST DROPKICK:
The other legends will sign the 8x10 or an item you bring in? Or choice?
This is how it was originally billed and how it would work the best for the fans.

Yeah, I was there, I heard that Buddy Roberts and his family were there, I was in line waiting to meet Piper, but when I tried to find him to sign my Freebirds section of the encylopedia, he was gone. I hope he'll be there July 10th
