Will there be an 8x10 for Hogan to sign or do you have to bring your own item for him to sign?
The more I'm thinking about it I might buy the new WWE book and have everyone sign that. But I'm not sure.

Are you f***ing serious? Do people seriously not know how to read anymore? there have been 15 other posts with how the autograph session is working yet we have about ten a**clowns asking every other day. READ THE THREAD.
Good luck to Chris Sader and WCPW. This is huge for them but I have to imagine that WAR is a little peeved that WCPW got the hulkster and not them.

Still no answer from anyone who officially represents WCPW. One last time Windy City, are you running the wrestling portion of this show and if so why is your name not on the tickets or any of the promotional materials?

Still no answer from anyone who officially represents WCPW. One last time Windy City, are you running the wrestling portion of this show and if so why is your name not on the tickets or any of the promotional materials? Honestly, why is this anyone's business? Here is what is needed to be known. An event is being held at Toyota Park on July 10th. Hogan is being presented by Toyota Park, which has far more money than WCPW does, so Hogan is guaranteed to be there. There is a wrestling show going on after the Hogan event in which various promotions' stars are on the card, including WCPW. The fan has options as to what they want to do: Go see Hogan, go see the show, go see just the show, or go see both. That's a lot of options, with a guaranteed Hogan appearance. So why is there all this "digging" to find out who is responsible for it when it's nobody's business what WCPW's role in the show will be other than the advertised involvement? Why the sense of entitlement? I have seen "fans" cream themselves on this board for a hack like Armando Estrada coming to a local indy fed, yet Hogan is being called "an overhyped ego maniac. He's only the biggest name in the history of the industry that nobody has brought to our scene before in any capacity on the indy level. If Estrada can be brought in for $800 a pop when he's done nothing in this business, then Hogan can charge whatever he wants for his autograph. Why would anyone think he should be doing things for free? It's a business. If you're broke, then don't go. If you have the money to spend, shell it out and quit complaining. There are people here that spend $200 on a pair of gym shoes when they could get a pair far more reasonably elsewhere. Don't complain because we live in a capitalist society.

No, it's not.
Obviously, whoever is running it has the money to bring in the guys who are working it. Guys like Hart, Valentine, Nastys and Beefcake wouldn't come in without at least half up front. that means there is money behind the show.
Either Toyota Park is fronting the bills or WCPW is fronting the bills. WCPW doesn't have a history of cancelling shows or having debacles happen under their name.
So you have two reputable companies that are your options for presenting the show. Where is your complaint?
Let me ask this. Are you going to the show based on who is running it or are you going to the show based on who is wrestling on it? Are you going to the show at all? If not, then where is your concern?

How can it be a fan appreciation for those outrageous autograph fees?

This is officially shady and it pisses me off when stuff like this happens in the scene. Why can't we get a straight answer from Windy City Pro Wrestling (the one's who started this thread) as to who is running the wrestling portion of the show?

Um, because he is giving you an opportunity to get a picture and an autograph.
Hogan could've asked for a fee to come in and do an interview or a lame run in, which would lead to none of the fans being able to get a picture or autograph. So there is a difference in coming in to appear on the show and coming in you sign an autograph. Fans get the benefit of the latter scenario, while Hogan makes money off his name, which he is more than entitled to do.
If Elite Pro puts on a great show while charging an admission fee, does that mean that they appreciate their fans any less because they made money off them?
If POWW raises their ticket price for WrestleRage because it's their biggest show of the year with the highest attendance, does that mean they appreciate their fans any less because they decided to make money off the supply and demand aspect of their biggest show?
I'll ask again. Why the sense of entitlement? Performers in ANY entertainment industry make money off their name and celebrity status. It's not a crime and I have no idea why you feel like you're being cheated or something.

Why can't we get a straight answer from Windy City Pro Wrestling (the one's who started this thread) as to who is running the wrestling portion of the show? Please answer this. What difference would it make who is running it? Let's say Whack came out of retirement and presented it. Elite, Eastman brought Hogan in for a TTW show. Jimmy Blaze or any other promoter on the round table show. Or, some anonymous Money Mark. What difference would it make? How is it shady to have a guranteed show? Again, the fact Toyota Park is attached to the show GUARANTEES delivery of the show. There is no way they would have a show in their venue without contracts being signed. The show is happening as advertised. What difference does it make who is putting the matches together behind the scenes? Are you even going to the show?

As much as Whack and I have had our differences, I would feel more comfortable shelling out 98 bucks to him for an autograph session than Chris Sader. Aside from Sader taking care of Hogan's father, please give me a list of shows he has successfully promoted. This includes wrestling shows, autograph sessions and anything else you want to toss out there. Joey Eastman and Jimmy Blaze have solid reps in the area. You are comparing apples and oranges.

Please answer this. What difference would it make who is running it? Because when this all started it was promoted on this board as a HUGE WINDY CITY WRESTLING CARD and we got updates on the card everyday and this was going to be Windy City's biggest show since the Ampitheatre days etc, etc and now we get "Wrestling Legends Under the Stars" and WCPW's name has conviently been left off tickets and posters. So what is the deal? Why can no one answer this question for me? I guarantee you if AAW, Elite, Joey Eastman, Billy Whack, POWW or whoever else was running this thing their name would be ALL OVER IT. How do you not see that this is shady?
