Don't know if this question was asked...but is the early start time to prevent fans from choosing between AAW and UFC 100?
Card looks good.

UFC 100 is going to be pretty big so we're going with a matinee show and fans will still be able to get to wherever they're going to watch Brock dismantle Frank Mir.

Is it really a matinee because of a UFC show?

Yes, but not just any UFC show, UFC 100 which is pretty much stacked up like their version of Wrestlemania. When we announced the date on our messageboard a number of our fans said they were going to have to choose between UFC and Scars and Stripes so we are going with the 3:00pm start time.
Remember Brock is fighting for the undisputed title and a number of wrestling fans have now crossed over and are following his career.

Are we going to see Colt Cabana return? He said it wasn't going to be a one night fling, and there's no ROH conflict this month.

Are we going to see Colt Cabana return? He said it wasn't going to be a one night fling, and there's no ROH conflict this month. As of right now he's not scheduled but sometimes you never know who's gonna show up in AAW. Since the Dragon Gate announcement my email has been filling up with guys wanting to work with AAW.

Scars and Stripes has always been one of AAW's biggest shows of the year. With the fifth installment only a few weeks away here is a brief history of the first four Scars and Stripes shows. *Note all of these shows are available on DVD in the merchandise section of AAWrestling.com July 9th 2005. AAW holds the innagural "Scars and Stripes" at the Berwyn Rec Center. AAW Newcomer Eric Priest defeats Scotty Sabre. Jerry Lynn makes a triumphant return. Machine dominates Mark Madison in a barbed wire match. A young tag team by the name of "The Black and the Brave" were in action. Keith Walker and Jay Bradley have an absolute war that puts Walker on the map. In the main event Tony Scarpone and Robert "Ego" Anthony battle in a last man standing match for the AAW championship. With the help of Jim Jesus, Ego becomes the first two time champion. July 15th, 2006. The 2nd annual "Scars and Stripes" is held. "The Man Beast" Rhyno debuts but is unsuccessful in his bid to win the AAW Heavyweight title against Tyler Black. Silas Young ends his feud with Jason Dukes in a Berwyn Street fight. Bryce Benjamin and Chandler McClure end their feud in a submission match. Marek Brave wins a fatal four way match against Jimmy Jacobs, Trik Davis and the debuting M-Dogg 20 in what many called the 2006 match of the year. The main event saw the returns of Keith Walker and Ego as they took on Danny Daniels and Eric Priest to defend the honor of the company. The night ended with JJ Inc standing over the beaten bodies of their advesaries. July 14th 2007- "Scars and Stripes '07". Eric Priest continues his win streak by defeating Joey Mercury to retain the Heritage title. Arik Cannon and the Northstar Express get a big win in their debut match. Krotch overcomes the odds and wins a battle royal that earns him a shot at Jerry Lynn's Heavyweight title. The main event sees the JJ Inc team of Tyler Black and Chandler McClure defeat Jayson Reign and Danny Daniels in a wild Berwyn Street Fight. The match features one of the most memorable moments in AAW history as Daniels hits Black with a top rope flipping piledriver through a table. July 12th 2008- "Scars and Stripes '08". In a war that is still being waged one year later Silas Young and Josh Raymond meet one on one. Arik Cannon continues to climb the ladder in the singles ranks with a win over Christian Able. Dan Lawrence defeats Zach Gowen but is then beaten down and has his hair cut by Truth Martini. In an emotional farewell "The Gold Standard" Eric Priest is defeated by Chandler McClure in his final professional wrestling match. In a match where the losers would recieve ten lashes, The Phoenix Twins are defeated by long time rivals the Northstar Express and their manager Joey Eastman throws more feul on the fire using a contract loophole to force the brothers to whip each other with a strap. In the main event Tyler Black captures the AAW Heavyweight title for a second time defeating Jerry Lynn to a thunderous ovation from the Berwyn crowd. More memorable moments will be made on July 11th at "Scars and Stripes '09" as Tyler Black tries to become the only man to ever hold the AAW Heavyweight title on three occasions when he challenges Jay Bradley plus much more to be announced!

I understand the time change. I really do. But if I have to choose between AAW and going to the bar to watch UFC 100, I will choose the latter, even though AADub's card is nothing to sneeze at.
Right now, there's no bar listed in Cicero/Berwyn that's showing the fight, but that could change. If I could go to both, I would.
Too bad AAW can't pop for a PPV from the Eagles Club and show it on the big screen. That would be cool.
