Breaking news Went to POWW show in Melrose Park(good show) then went to after party. From wrestler that I talk to, won't mention his name, Marco Cordova was recently fired, Vic Capri quits POWW, Star trainee quitting as well, but Trevor Blanchard still wrestles??? Jimmy Blaze...what the hell are you doing? Those two guys are the only one on your roster that actually WRESTLED and looked like WRESTLERS. If only POWW would evolve

Why should they evolve? They have a core fan base that shows up at every show and they are content with that.

Why should they evolve? They have a core fan base that shows up at every show and they are content with that. Because they all don't look like wrestlers and can't wrestle all that well. The majority of them wear t shirts as their gear. Of course the area they wrestle like that stuff, it's the only thing out there. You bring in ROH or AAW to POWW's area and I guarantee POWW will be no more. Not trying to be rude just stating my opinion

It is something that I have said for years...the area is really virgin territory. One fed...that is it. But like I said, as long as these wrestlers pay the dues all is right...except for the fans

Not every fan knows about ROH, AAW and Resistance so to say that they would run anybody out of any town in the Chicago area is quite premature.
Each company is no different then all the stations in your car radio AM, FM, Sirius.
People who like talk radio will listen to WLS, WGN, etc. Those who like oldies 94.7 Soft Rock WLIT 93.9
and so on
Not to take a shot at AAW, ROH, or Resistance because they feature the elite in Indy wrestling. If lets say 15,000 flyers for shows that AAW, ROH, and Resistance were handed out to 15,000 people exiting the Allstate arena i would wager that maybe 10-15 % of those 15k would know about AAW, ROH, and Resistance and i am being generouswith that number. With Resistance getting a weekly tv on U26 i recently read that is a great opportunity to expand it's fan base.
Keep in mind Ben that to this day the Casual fan that knows of only WWE and maybe TNA have no idea of ROH, AAW, and Resistance and that counts for about 13,000 people or more of those 15,000 flyers.
