Its pricey but people will buy. Also, wrestling enthusiasts will jump on this because how often does Okada come to the US?

Just bumping so it can get on the first page. Wish people would stop bumping old threads which screws up the order.
Idea, can we lock all threads after their shows have occurred?

Look, I'm still trying to get the hang of this. At least they're pinned. Better than nothing.

I'm gonna give Jake a pass on this one until he learns his way around the Mod control panel. Maintaining the shows page is a Sisyphusian task ie. it never ends...especially when there are many shows to manage. Since World Wide has joined up, we have the shows page set at it's max which is 40 threads per page, it fluctuates between 25 and 40 but hasn't dipped lower in months. So, if you wanna have your shows in order from "what's happening this weekend?" to "what's coming up in the next month or two?" you've got to do this: 1) sticky the new thread, easy.
2) Once stickied, everything before that new show that is already stickied then needs to be bumped, one at a time or in multiple if they are on the same day in order to "push down" the new show into it's correct spot on the list.
If we get a new thread for a show this weekend, no sweat. But if somebody posts a show 2 months away and I want it in order, I get to do the steps above potentially 39 times, EVERY TIME a new show thread is made. 3)Repeat to infinity or until there are no new shows to sticky. That's why sometimes shows that are farther away drop off the front page; we often times have more than the maximum of 40, so while they are in order its on Page 2. Other times I just don't have 15-20 minutes to spend stickying 1 new show thread that's not until October. It's time consuming, monotonous and if you have a slow connection, super frustrating at times. Add the fact that WWUnderground can sniff out the most obscure show and post it the DAY OF, and you've got to stay on your toes if you want the board to be current. It's a pretty antiquated way of moving content around sequentially but it's just the way it is, Proboards hasn't changed the code since I've been using it.

I know I've mentioned it before and I'll say it again, I think World Wide Underground should be a mod. This way the shows would be updated in order right away 90% of the time. Btw, WWU, if you're reading this, you da man.
