Powerhouse Wrestling returns to Lincoln (IL) College Gym (300 Keokuk St.) on October 6th with special guest - former WWE Intercontinental champion The Honky Tonk Man! Doors open at 6 p.m. with a 7 p.m. bell time.
Powerhouse champion Botch, who was diagnosed this summer with colon cancer, will be in attendance to address the crowd about his condition and future plans. Botch is an alumnus of Lincoln Christian College and this will prove to be an emotional homecoming for the champion.
Also scheduled to appear: "The A-Team" (Magnum Conroy, Remy Rainz, "Old Timer" Jeff King & manager Tobias Montgomery Hope), Matty Montcalm, Tony Rican, Dan Lawrence, Gary the Freak, Dancin' Machine, Steve Amani, Nathan Grimley, "Spectacular" Brian Parker, Rudo Cortez, Andrew McLeod, Jonny Lawless, "All Nite" Adam Reynolds, "Golden Boy" Mike Horning, Machine, Gilbert Lewis and more!
Tickets are $10 and are available in Lincoln at IGA (713 Pulaski) and Family Custom Cleaners (621 Woodlawn). All shows at Lincoln College are fundraisers for the Lincoln College Student Senate.

Honky Tonk Will be at the CARE Rec Center in Streator on Fri Night before the show signing autographs, for a Q&A, and watching his favorite matches with his fans. Tickets only $5.

Eff saying bad timing. That show is within driving distance for me and I can make back on time in work. I have to miss the other show, but this one is just as good if not better.

I will leave this one up to Tobi & or Botch...but there's a great article that Botch posted as a bulletin on Myspace about his trying time. I'm sure some of the readers would find it a great read.

Yup. It ran in the local paper here in Lincoln (The Lincoln Courier). They did a nice piece on Steve, his condition and his ties to the area.
