Tracy & the juggalos sounds like a dangerous combo. I think Tracy has been working for the clowns for a few years and it has nearly always resulted in some pretty bad displays on the part of the juggalos.

arty its near Chicago, hours away from Granite City. You dont make it to shows in Bethalto you are less likely to drive to Chicago for a show.

So what does MMWA-SICW stand for and does anyone involved think it is a bit lengthy? This promotion is St Louis' mainstay, they have been running monthly shows at the South Broadway Athletic Club near the AB Brewery since the 1980's at least. Yes the acronym is long but noone calls the promotion MMWA-SICW, in fact if you asked half the wrestlers who have ever wrestled in or around STL they probably couldnt tell you who or where the promotion runs. On the other had ask if they know about South Broadway and just about everyone will have a story for you.

Matt & Jeff Hardy were "yarders" as well. Hope RWF resurfaces in 2010. This is not directed at RWF directly but just because there are current WWE superstars who were once yarders does not mean someone should not complain about yarders being used on shows advertised as professional wrestling. I am sure when Matt and Jeff and CM Punk were yarders they were not capable of putting on the matches they can now. So it was the fact these guys went on to get training and learn that changed them from being Yarders to being quality workers capable of working for the "E". So people Please stop referring to workers who went to get training when someone complains about Yarders being on shows...once they go on and get trained they are no longer yarders. IF there is ever a day where someone bypasses all training and goes straight from being a yarder to working for the "E" with no training then this argument would hold water. Just my opinion. Now back to the original post, between Sterling, Rock Falls, and Dixon you can't find a building?

All I can say is how can one run a show where the fans pay to see the show to raise money to pay back the fans who didnt get to see a show? In other words the fans are paying to get their money back? ?? WTF!!!!

In fact, if I may be so bold, why don't we get a little promotional detente going here and have a few of the local indies do a co-op promotional deal for this event, sharing the financial load and splitting up any profits? How about it? Discuss. Because someone would have to be responsible for the booking which means someone will feel their talent is being underbooked or someone else's talent is being overbooked. Because it doesnt make sense for a group of indy feds to get together and book for 100 smart fans who might care to attend this show live or the 200 fans who MIGHT buy a dvd. If this idea was a financial success IWA would still be in business.

The concensus was that the show was so-so at best with the only props going to the Hooligans. Then again, just what I heard ... five or six times from five or six different people. This is what you, the guy from Lincoln who used to co-promote wrestling events in Lincoln, heard from your friend's about another companies free show, which reportedly drew 500-750 people?

Isn't the PC term "special needs"? The only special thing this kid needs is for life to catch up to him. Now the real question is why is this kid treated any differently than the other promoters in the area that pull this same carny BS?

So I figure the best thing for the indy scene around here is for Jimmy Falcon to book a training Seminar with Judge Jesse as the head trainer. The Jesse can train RAW bound superstars and Falcon can manage them and since he gave them their break not have to worry about big pay days... And Chicago becomes the shining Mecca of pro wrestling! Please provide the ill informed like myself the opportunity to further understand the greatness that this post may include by linking us to this Judge Jesse training brilliance.

Oh what planet is JOEY GRUNGE a Big Name?
Wow reading that summary makes me totally rethink what I accomplished in the ten minutes I spent in wrestling. In that multitude of minutes I spent doing absolutely nothing in professional wrestling outside of working for a good local promotion with the right marketing like this guy is applying to himself I would have been a huge star.

This is by far the funniest thread in a while on this board. It sucks that it takes away from NBWA, but this is way too good. PICTURES!!! Disappointing for NBWA yes but I am really wanting someone to bankroll Jimmy Falcon and Talon to co-promote a show.
