DeAndre King defeated Cheapshot Mcgrot
Eric Ruffington defeated Ricky Powers in a loser leaves SLW match. Powers apparently did not see the program that was handed out to fans before the show as he was sitting in the second row and not prepared to wrestle
Dexter "D-o-g-g" Schwartz and Prince Nova made history by winning the SLW Tag Team Championship beating the Forces of Nature (Cyclone and JT Rain) and the Perfect Connection (TSO Alex Monroe and Petey Clark)
DaCobra retained the Supreme Championship over Wesley Thornton
Dangerous Drew Thomas and Jason Lyte won by dq over "Bloody" Harker Dirge and Issan Hadeev
Aaron Matthews earned a shot at DaCobra's Supreme Title at the September show by winning a 6 man scrambe defeating Brandon "Espy" Espinosa, Jaxson Pride, "Spoiled" Steven Kennedy, Cecil Cervezy, and Jason Vendetta (revorse order of elimination)

The Ego Express and Espy can all 3 really go, it will be interesting to see how Cecil Cerveza fits in. Hadeev and Drew Thomas are also both very talented, I havent seen Truk Thomspon in a few years so I am not sure how he will fit into the equation.

I went to WWE in Champaign last Saturday, I can honestly say I have been looking forward to this show a lot more than I was looking forward to the WWE show.

That is a flattering picture of Camron Star compared to when I saw the NCW show a few weeks ago.

Lincoln's CHALLENGE Gym is located at 205 Dodge Avenue in Rantoul. Actually once you get into Rantucky there are quite a few signs directing you towards Lincoln's Challenge.

The Drew Thomas-Diego Corleone match has the potential to be very good.

I think the big stretch could be calling something an arena in Mattoon

I believe Isaan Haddev (that dastardly bastard) renamed the U.S. Title, the Middle Eastern Title

Outdoor show to benefit a family. Hosted by a family member, which really cut costs and it was in the area of where the people being benefited were from, thus making it more meaningful for people to attend. Actually not a bad marketing strategy. It all depends on how you look at a situation.
Paintrain has said on the board and to me personally, no the NBWA is not AAW or NWA Midwest. But, they would like to eventually make it to those standards.
A few years ago (2003) I attended a show that included Adam Evans, Julian the Warlokck, JJ Drake, the Void Effect, Willie Richardson, Safari Stu Early, Acid Jaz, Trik Davis, Botch, Stryc-9, Tony Scarpone, Boy Toy Brian, Egotistico Fantastico, and Machine. The show was blasted on the old board by several posters. You put all of that talent on a show today, and people are most likely going to be happy. The guys from NBWA are young. Most of them are not giants. But they WANT to improve. Some organizations are happy where they are, some want to grow. The NBWA is a group that wants to grow. They want to improve. Gains are being made, but most noticeable gains can not be achieved overnight, give them time.

Put me in the pro NBWA side. I have been to I think 4 shows and enjoyed all of them. There are a lot of smaller guys, but there are guys with size as well. They do a great job carrying storylines from show to show. They are busting their butts trying to improve from show to show, and the fans enjoy it!

It was really impressed how the heat of the crowd seemed to build each match of the show. I was legit concerned for the safety of the heels in the last match being able to make it out of the show alive. The crowd was nuts!
