I was with Sam Decero in 1987 when Windy City Wrestling began and the company is still the longest running company out there. Many of you good folks seem to forget that the majority of the existing companys in Chicago spawned off off WCPW and PCW. It is a shame that so many folks that frequent this site never or seldom take the time to look back @ the orgins of Chicago professional wrestling. Many have a mindset that one day somebody planted a few seeds in the ground and Farmer George harvested all or most of the companys that exist today.

Thank u Chris and i did get your PM reply earlier this afternoon. I offered to moderate this part of the forum and basically " stooge " out to Chris any content that is disrespectful and an attempt to hurt or sabotage any Chicago area company but the forum will not go in that direction for now in conversing with Chris.
The 11th commandment in my book is " Thow shall not FU-K with ones livlihood " i'm sure that the majority of the folks that have been a part of this forum share the same thoughts and beliefs.
All the Chicago as well as the other wrestling companys in the Tri State area have a right to be in business like them or hate them and no one person who bears a grudge against wrestling company A, wrestling company B, and so on should post smack about that company on the upcoming shows forum.
It is a simple solution to solve these disputes and that is if u do not like for example " Chicago Superstars of Wrestling " ( A FICTIOUS COMPANY ) then don't acknowledge them.
Don't get me wrong there are a few people in the Chicagoland area that are or were a part of the business who i wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire but as we grow older and get wiser we all realize that we were idiots @ sometime or another. Myself included.
I wish every Chicago area company as well as the companys in the neighboring states all the luck in the world in keeping the boys and divas busy be it good, bad, or mediocre.

I am going to send a PM to Chris requesting that the posting of shows and events with information pertinent to the event be allowed on this part of the forum.
My suggestion to Chris is that any person who takes it upon themselves to turn an event into a pissing contest on this part of the forum should be dealt with in an appropriate manner.
Whether a company promotes an event that is good or mediocre then that company should have a right to promote the event without the threat of a few rouge idiots attempting to sabotage the event.
I looked @ " CROW' info and i see that he has a link to CZW wrestling so that gives me the impression that Crow could be a part of that company and or supporter which is his right to do so.
Years ago when i was running i would never tolerate a person in my orginazation going on a public forum or any media outlet to shizit can any organization or talent for that matter.
I'll leave it into Chris' hands how he wants to handle it.

Despite what our buddy " Crow " thinks it is just a biased opinion and can be dismissed as such. I will be in Chicago Halloween weekend as of right now and if i don't have a change of plans i may attend the event just to say hi.

I didn't know Tony was in the building. I would have loved to chat with him and iron things out that happened years ago. I did see " He whose name must not be mentioned " lol. It was a fun show and great to see everyone again

I think it is a Park District facility so it is unlikely alcohol will be on sale.

Sometimes the school - fund raising group sets the price in ticket pricing. It is more then likely that this event is a sold show in which WCPW is guaranteed X amount of $ and the school - fund raising group keeps the entire gate or it could be a split of the gate between WCPW and the orginazation.

Bobby J. i am unable to make this annual worthwhile fundraiser. Is there a mailing address that you can provide for myself and other folks unable to attend the event to send a check on behalf of the Sanders family ?

Actually the first " Battle of the Belts " was in Orlando Florida during the 1980's for the old NWA Championship Wrestling from Florida.
