160+ raucous fans packed into the sweltering hot Oak Forest Park District last night to celebrate ElitePro's 2nd Anniversary.
1) Sex, Drugs & Wrestling (Vito Thomaselli, Kris Chambers & Ash) defeated The Ring Rydas (Blue, Red & Yellow) by submission with Vito's "Another Thomaselli Tragedy" choke hold on Ring Ryda Red.
2) Jay Jensen & Mike Elgin w/Mark Jensen defeated Marshe Rockett & Thomas Walton III w/C-Red with a Stuff Butterfly Piledriver on Walton. It was revealed before the match that Walton is C-Red's nephew.
3) Mike Rollins defeated Corey Mason.
4) ElitePro Dojo Showcase Match: "The New" John E. Kash defeated Ryan Project to remain "King of Everything That Is Dark Match" otherwise known as the DarkMatchPro Champion.
5) Brandon Thomaselli defeated JD Hughes with a 450 Splash to become the new ElitePro World TV Champion. Corporal Robinson was Brandon's handpicked Ringside Enforcer.
6) Jason Hades defeated Nick Brubaker with The Killswitch. Before the match, Sex, Drugs & Wrestling came to the ring and revealed that they paid Dysfunction and Kimberly Kash to stay home so that they could have the newest member of their group debut against Hades. They introduced Brubaker, who was competitive with Hades throughout. In the end, Vito tried to interfere only to have it backfire, leading to Hades hitting The Killswitch.
7) Corporal Robinson defeated Martin Jones with a piledriver on a chair to defend the ElitePro Heavyweight Championship. Robinson got on the mic before the match and told Martin that he had been watching him and had a lot of respect for what he had seen thus far. Corp then told Martin he was going to give the chance of a lifetime and put the ElitePro Heavyweight Title on the line. Robinson proceeded to beat Martin all over the building. When the action spilled back into the ring, Martin was able to mount an offense, but in the end was too battered to score the upset. After the match, Corp got back on the mic and told Martin that he had passed his first test.
8) Team W.A.R. defeated Team Taliban with a powerbomb-springboard 450 combo on Jake O'Neill. Without question this was the most electric the ElitePro fans have ever been for a match in the two years existence of the company. Just when it looked like Mustafa Ali was going to hit the Weapon of Mass Destruction (inverted 450), Brandon Thomaselli & Jason Hades came to ringside to distract him and cause Ali to chase them to the back. This left Jake O'Neill 2-on-1 and immediately led to the finish of the match.
After the match, Jay Jensen & Mike Elgin came to the ring and challenged Team W.A.R to put the tag belts on the line against them on August 23. Jensen even went so far as to challenge Team W.A.R.'s manhood, claiming that since becoming champions they haven't faced a single team with guys that weight over 200 pounds. Team W.A.R., never one to back away from a challenge, quickly accepted.
