The show opened with Mr Ricolo introducing Ruff Crossing. Ruff issued an apology to Jimmy Blaze on what took place in Dubuque,Iowa the previous week. Crossing demanded Blaze come to the ring to man up and shake hands. Blaze came out not sure what to expect warned Crossing that "you don't cross the boss." Enter the ring,Chris Cairo. Cairo addressing both superheroes saying shake hands and forgive and forget. Both men agreed but you could smell the friction was still in the air.
In the opening match up Kanoa retained the Regional Title when he beat Chris Cairo. This was Cairo's last attempt to win the belt before the Crowning of the Champ.
Joey Cece and Tony Scarpone went to an eleven minute-time limit draw. Scarpone upset with another time limit draw,stated August 9 in Woodstock he wanted a rematch with a 13 minute time limit. Cece insisted that at the Crowning of the Champ there will be no time limit.
Joey Eastman was introduced to the fans. The colorful Eastman came off as heelish , thou settled down when he announced the Poww Tag Team Champions, American History Next. The tag champions said they would destroy Wild Mayhem and go on to the Crowning of the Champ with the Tag Team gold. Hardcore Craig and Steve Stone argued who would come out as double champion.
It was a see saw battle between Xcon and Ruff Crossing. Crossing won by DQ after being handcuffed to the ropes for the second week in a row. The defenseless Crossing take a chairshot to the head while cuffed to the ropes. "Con" later challenge Ruff to a handcuffs on a pole match at The Crowning of the Champ.
For the Poww tag team titles, Wild Mayhem won by DQ when the over the top rope rule was enforced. Hardcore Craig and Steve Stone retain the tag titles but couldn't believe the ruling by the ref who was chased out of the ring by the champs.
In the next match the shady Justin James walked out on crutches and wearing a neck brace claiming to Jimmy Blaze he was unable to wrestle due to injuries he sustained when he fell off his exercise bicycle. Blaze wasn't buying into that quickly put an attack on James. After about ten minutes of battle, Jade,valet for the M.O.B., grabbed the mic and tried to persuade Blaze to join the M.O.B. Justin James retreated to the outside also tried to persuade Blaze even tossing Jimmy Blaze an M.O.B. t-shirt to wear. Blaze, put the shirt on with the crowds disapproval. James quickly joined Blaze in the ring to celebrate only to be met with a Jimmy Blaze flatliner. Blaze gets the pinfall and victory then rips off the t-shirt to the delight of the fans.
Dehok won the Poww Royal and gets an entrant into the King of the Royals in 2009.
