Before the opening match started, with Jimmy Blaze and Trevor Blanchard in the ring , Blaze was confronted by new law school graduate Attorney Robert Sabre and From the Lake County Sheriffs Department Officer Ryan Chase. Sabre, although intimidated by Blazes presence ,explained he was being arrested for his actions that took place at the July Fox Lake event . Trevor Blanchard claimed he was assaulted by Blaze when he was a paying fan. Blaze was hauled away in handcuffs. Referee Parella made the ten count and awarded Trevor Blanchard the win.
Mikey Wild walked out upset with what he just witnessed and stated he would wrestle in place of Blaze. Blanchard agreed. Blanchard pinned Wild. While Justin James was distracting the ref ,Tommy Capone ran in and delivered a super kick to Wild. Blanchard quickly covered Wild to get the pin fall as Capone ran back to the locker room.
Evil Doer Dehok, beat Chris Cairo with a sit down choke slam. Dehok got on the mic said that Pure Evil was the worse tag team in Poww,putting Scott Spade down and claiming he(Dehok) was the force behind the two. Out comes Scott Spade and Taylor Made. Both men put on a verbal attack towards each other. After Dehok leaves,Cairo re-enters the ring. Spade explains he has done a lot of bad over the years and asks Cairo for forgiveness. Spade ask Cairo if he would help him out in the future . Cairo agreed and both men shook hands with the fans approval.
Tommy Capone couldn't overcome the swiftness of Hardcore Craig. Craig gets the pin fall .
In the Poww Royal, Mikey Wild out smarted the tactics of Trevor Blanchard and Tommy Capone to gain the win and move on to The King of the Royals 2009.
King Matt Mayhem stunned Kanoa and the crowd with a pinfall victory in a non title match.
The tag team main event saw Joey Cece and Ruff Crossing beat Xcon and Tony Scarpone. Cece pinned Xcon while Scarpone and Crossing brawled outside the ring. After the match Xcon and Scarpone blindsided Cece and Crossing while they celebrated in the ring. Nicholas H even got involved in this beatdown getting a few licks in. Chris Cairo along with Jimmy Blaze(who was bailed out of jail by some unknown person or persons ) charged the ring and scattered the would be rule breakers.
Jimmy Blaze,his bad night continued when he was shoved and knocked on his fanny when he tried to help Ruff to his feet. Blaze fuming at this point watched Ruff grabbed Nikki and walk away with the fans unsure of the actions of Crossing. Blaze got to his feet, spoke a few words to Cece then walked off , puzzled.
