I arrived at the building and caught 17 seconds of the opening match
1. Willie Da Bomb Richardson defeated Freek with an atomic drop and lariat after Absolute Anarchy came out and distracted Freek. Freek had wrestling gear and a mask and i think with time can develop into a great character.
Zigwa did the opening announcements
2. Atlas defeated Jordan Pryde in about 5 minutes. Short and very physical. The match was back and forth and ended very suddenly and overwhelmingly in Atlas favor.Atlas won after grabbing Pryde by his throat and hitting a tko.
Frankie Valient came out and cut a promo talking how like every one else V.W.A.A. is experiencing some hard finacial times and vows to destroy whoever his opponet is tonight to get some frustration out.
3. The Mansons and Rick Walsh and Brawn The Lumberjack battled to a double count out. The mansons got on the mike and bragged about jumping Mitch Blake. Rich Walsh came out and said he'd fight alone before Mitch came out with a knee brace and said he found a replacement in Brawn. The match was a standard tag team with great crowd heat and Brawn landed on his head and seemed dazed and the Mansons continuously group beatdowned Walsh during the match. the match broke down and went into a brawl and the Mansons left afterwards. Mitch Blake came out afterwards and offered his Fury Jersey to Brawn and Brawn accepted.
Team K.O. came out for their tag title defence and were interupted by Willie Da Bomb Richardson. Willie talked to them about how he wants the tittles back and couldn't found a partner so he'll manage instead at this point Fall in Ruins jumped Team K.O. from behind and challenged for latter that night.
4. Frankie Vallient destroyed Squanto to retain the hardcore kingship in a unbelievably viscous and brutal match. Squanto and Valient tore into each other with street signs, chairs, a metal snow shovel, ladders, garbage cans, and a small tire hanging from a chain. Squanto to the surprise of many gave as good as he got and even managed to wrap the chain around frankies neck and force him off the top onto a table that wouldn't break. Squanto then speared him through the table. Frankie at one point puched Squanto in the c*ck about 8 times super stiff ( thats what she said) it was extremely brutal.Squanto even used a bag of powder to prevent a pissed of Frankie from murdering him and almost getting the pin when he tried again Frankie knocked the bag into Squantos face. Frankie then proceed to make good on his promise and beat the ever living sh*t out of Squanto. In the end he tied the chain around the ring post like a noose and with Squanto being hanged proceeded to unleash 2 brutal chair shots before the ref stopped the match and awarded it to Frankie because Squanto couldn't continue. Squanto impressed me greatly in this match.
Intermission: The Manifest Destiny DVD looks really nice.
5. Tunica defeated Isias Velazquiez to retain the circuit tittle in a good match. Isias made a surprise return here and had a really good match with Tunica. Isias is very sloppy at times but still was entertaining Tunica shocked everyone with the clean pin after reversing a lucha move which drove Isias face down hard into the ground. After the match Isias snapped and beat the piss out of Isias.
6. Machine defeated Akuma in a enjoyable, comedy filled match. Ben Cruise, Flywheel and Machine provided plenty of laughs in this one. Johnny Wild said he would consider firing Ben Cruise if Chicago Pro Wrestling.com would name him manager of the year. Ben Cruise argued with anyone and everyone in the crowd. Eventually Ben Cruise accidentally hit Akuma with a chair which lead to Machine hitting a spinebuster for the pin. After the match Ben Cruise and Akuma got into a fight and Johnny Wild had to break it up leading to all 3 men storming off individually alone.
7. The Clockwork Carnival defeated Absolute Anarchy in a Singapore cane/Freek on a leash match. Poochie Gobble and J-City immediately brought the fight to Absolute Anarchy and did so for several minutes. Eventually the underhanded tactics of Absolute Anarchy allowed them to get control and the singapore canes even though Vigilante couldn't get one down due to his ineptitude in life. The Arabian Death Dealer then attacked Alpha Bitz and Freek and then joined in with Vigilante in caning the living sh*t outta J-City and Poochie Gooble. Somehow in the fracas, Alpha Bitz got the key and unleashed Freek who proceded to beath the crap out Absolute Anarchy with the canes and allowed J-City and Poochie to hit Vigilante with a Murder-Go Round/Spear combo that was slightly off timed for the win After the match Freek continued his assault on Vigilante and Arabian Death Dealer with the cane. The match was enjoyable, Poochie showed alot of heart and passion but needs a lot of work like Freek but both are young and due to that sometimes it was sloppy and mistimed.

8. Fall in Ruins defeated Team K.0. to win the Tag Team Titles.
The match was very stiff and intense and all 4 men pulled out all the stops and Willie was great in his manager role. The second rope went to hwell and needed to be tightened but the match went on. Everyone was roaring elbowed, dropped on heads, dove onto, suicide planchaed, enzuguried, chopped, kicked, kneed and so on. The match got sloopy at times when it was in demolition derby mode and would soon settle down after that with technical wrestling. Thomas Sinclair has tights that fit him now. Amazing Kuan started bleeding through the mask and Ovirlord took some nasty falls including an embarassing botch involving trying an asai moonsault off the second rope to the floor that Amazing Kuan saved by diving onto FIR. The match was long and hard fought and full of break neck speed action. After a series of brutal and exhausting near falls Ovirlord made a huge mental mistake and dove onto Willie on the out side which allowed FIR to hit a super powerbomb/sliced-bread #2 for the win and the tag team titles
Thoughts; Really, really, really good and entertaining show. Everyone worked hard and busted their asses. V.W.A.A. if it can get through hard times might be very good in the future. For a indy their dvds are high quality. They are worth checking out and should be given a shot. But i did see about 84456489 roaring elbows today. Hopefully they cut it down so they don't do moves for sakes of moves type deal I understood when Jordan was doing to try and stun the much larger Atlas and in the main event because both teams wanted to massacre each other. I don't know. Good show.
