The opening segment create quite a stir from the Dubuque fans as Nicholas H was center ring ripping into Dubuque and the fans and saying he is building a stable that will bring him championships.
Nick H making his Dubuque debut, demanded that somebody come out to the ring and explain why he was asked to be here.
Mr Ricolo came out to the roar of the crowd and told Nick H because of his actions of late,( trash talking the fans in Fox Lake and his message board comments) that by order of Commissioner Paradise and the Chairman of the Board, Jimmy Blaze, he would be in the main event. Nick H was thrilled and excited to be part of the main event. Mr Ricolo also told him he would be part of the semi- main event. Nick H right now was happier then a kitten with a q-tip. Mr Ricolo went on ,told him he would be part of the match before that and before that etc. Confused, Nick H asked what the deal was. Ricolo told him that he would be the referee for the night and if he didn't put the ref shirt on right now , by the order of Commissioner Paradise, he would be fired. With the fans chanting "We want Bobby," (referring to ref Bobby "Peewee" Parella) Nick agreed, reluctantly.
In the first match where the fans got to pick from the bucket of Superheroes and bucket SuperVillains it was Dehok pinning Matt Mayhem with his feet on the ropes for leverage. Nick H was very laid back in his refereeing.
One of Dubuque's favorites Chris Cairo, defeated Trevor Blanchard. Blanchard, the only member of the M.O.B. in Dubuque couldn't overcome the fast paced actions of The Lost Soul. Again Nick H was very slow on his counts.
The 350 lb Stumpy Haggard crushed Melanie Cruise for the win. Cruise held her own but couldn't overcome the massive Haggard. Kanoa at ringside, didn't want any part of the man from Jo Davies County, although he did manage to throw in a few licks.
In a match that could have been a main event anywhere , Ruff Crossing beat Tenacious Terry Allen using the pump handle driver for the pin. Crossing wasn't pleased when his name was pulled from the villains bucket. Ruff went on and told the fans that he will be a Poww superhero for ever. This high flying match went back and forth even battling outside the ring giving the fans a match-up that might not ever be seen again. Allen and Crossing shook hands after the match while the fans were chanting POWW POWW POWW POWW. Nick H for the most part just went thru the motions.
Mikey Wild, in a non-title match, upset Kanoa when Kanoa tapped out. Queen Cruise was at ring side had no effect as she was still hurting from her earlier match.
Psychotic Jimmy Blaze was drawn from the villains bucket in his match against Scott Spade. Blaze upset, came out complaining that someone screwed with the envelopes. Blaze said with that he would act like a villain. The Psychotic one was counted out of the ring when he sat at ringside with the fans. Nick H didn't waste any time counting him out.
Blaze then joined Scott Spade in the ring when Jamie Dundee appeared. Dundee trashed talked Blaze and Poww. Dundee challenged them to a tag match and went to the back to grab Kanoa followed by Dehok. Blaze seeing it would be three on two ask for help from the locker room. Ruff Crossing runs out to join Blaze and Spade . In a wild match, Spade delivered the ace crusher to Dundee to score he pin. After the match Blaze, helping former valet Nikki out of the ring slapped Crossing across the face as the two argued.
Trevor Blanchard was the first entrant in the Poww Royal. Blanchard informed the crowd that it was him that switched the envelopes of Crossing and Blaze in the fans pick the matches. Blaze comes out fuming only to be reminded by Blanchard that there still is the 15foot restraining order on him. Blaze responded saying its only in Illinois and charged the ring attacking Blanchard. With the next six entrants Trevor took one hell of a beating. But in the end it came down to Blaze and Crossing with Blaze overpowering and tossing Ruff over the top rope to get the win.
Jimmy Blaze thanked the fans of Dubuque and praised student Mary Moe as she made her way into the ring along side Chris Cairo and Matt Mayhem. After his speech Blaze nailed Nick H with a flatliner. As the fans were cheering, Blaze did an encore to the bias ref. Rolling out of the ring then re-entering Blaze caught Cairo and Mayhem with the same treatment . The show ended with the fans once again chanting POWW POWW POWW POWW.
