How can you call it a cheap shot. My man Matt Cage beat that punk Shane Hollister fair and square.. Matt Cage is hands down the better man. Shane stood no chance at all.
Cage will be the Dynasty Pro Champion as Long as Matt Styles is running the show.
Becuase it is what it is.

I think we will be ok. We put on a pretty good show. We had the best from around the QC on the card we did not get the numbers we were expecting but we Will get more as we keep going.
It was our first show.. Once people hear more about us, i think we can build up to be a great promotion. It is not as easy as I though it would be. People doin't understand stand how hard it is. I thought it would be a snap. Once people hear wrestling they come running but not everyone is like me I guess. But It will be fine.
As far as the Matt Cage Shane Hollister fued. That one is enough to put some Butts in the seats.
Matt Styles.

A fan's thoughts on DynastyPRO's debut show:
"Matt Cage as DPW Champion however is fitting, I always liked him even though he doesn't care about the fans."
"Black Dragon and Hellfire was interesting, they went all over Lumpy's...I even handed Hellfire my pizza plate and he smacked Dragon in the face with it."
"Krotch! Man, he was the spot of the night."
"Krotch was hilarious and the color commentary was gold and imature...still fun though."
"That triple threat match with Shane/Brave/Cage was great."
"It was a fun night and well worth my $8!"

Reason #1 you shouldn't be running a promotion. And you're a worker, too? How long have you been working? How many different promotions have you worked extensively for? How can you run a promotion when you readily admit you're in over your head. Go out and work other promotions and meet veterans that have booked for promotions and learn how to promote shows. You should be worried about wrestling and not promoting. No offense, but you're exactly what is wrong with the local wrestling scene.

I will venture a guess that he is talking about the OSWA/WPPF group. I think this Styles guy was the original "money mark" that worked with them for a while. In the first show he was part of the organization he pulled a "I'm taking over" angle in front of 20 ppl and went from ring announcer to General Manager in the last segment that ended with a buncha "not very trained" workers brawling and physically fighting with the NEW GM.
My best guess is most of these guys are there for a payday and if this place goes down a similar road that OSWA, inc did...Don't expect to see Brave and Hollister "helping out" for very long.

Two whom every called me out. I am not going to have a pissing match with someone on the internet. Our show was decent, everyone was paid.. Everyone had a good time. I was supposed to be the money mark for the OSWA/WPPF. I am not a stupid person. I have money and spend it wisely. I am a business man first. I fell in love with the wrestling business. I did do a lot of research on this business and I see how most promoters do there thing and are worried about making money. If you were as smart as you think you are.. You would know that there is not a whole lot of money to be made in this business. I do it for the fun of it. I want everyone who works these shows i put together to have a good time. These shows are put together to have a good time and give some sort of entertainment to our community. As far as the wrestling side of things. I do not have much to do with it. I let me people handle that. I have some great guys around me that help out a ton. They have been around the business. I understand the business part, But the wrestling part, I admit I am pretty green at.
I wanna make this very very clear. I am not other unamed Promoters who think they can make this there fulltime job. And look out for themselfs frist. I have been in the ring a few times as a workers and I tell you what, I respest the hell out of anyone who has the balls to do it. It is very hard to get over in this business. Alot of things I have seen about other promoters is the do what they can to get themselfs over. I am not all about that. I am all about having a good time. Letting my guys have a good time and do there thing. I can gureente this.. Dynasty Pro wrestling is here for the long haul. We will have a place where everyone is gonna wanna work.
As far as your comments about Shane, and the other guys. Trust me they are happy. They are very good workers and they will be taking care of like the rest of my workers and staff. If you don't like the Idea of what we are doing then I guess you can go ahead and not attend our shows. And leave our threads alone..
Thanks Matt Styles

With that, I would like to kindly ask if we could keep this thread about the results of our show rather than watch it derail about issues and matters that aren't relevant to the subject at hand.
Thank you.

I agree w/ Markus and Chief; I first met Chief and Matt Styles @ the show in Galesburg put on by that "unnamed" promotion. Sure, Matt is new to the business and is NOT a wrestler; however, he has more passion for wrestling than many people I've met who have been in the business far longer.
The negativity displayed by mrwrestling04 only supports this belief.
Matt has his head AND heart in the right place, and Marek Brave, Shane Hollister, Chief Attkullakulla, Krotch, Matt Cage, Markus Crane, myself, and many other MATURE PROFESSIONALS felt we were taken care of just fine by this new fed.
Don't Hate. Congratulate.
I'm proud to be on the roster of Dynasty PRO.
Oh, and MCC? Don't be such a pessimist. Catchphrases are cool, and good ones have a little truth to 'em; but Vince is obviously NOT "all about the money", Hennig was not actually "Perfect", Randy Orton did not kill any legends, get it? Or must I continue?
This is supposed to be fun. It was renamed sports ENTERTAINMENT, remember? Let's have fun. Life is hard enough w/out all the negativity.
Now, as for results... MY NAME WAS MISSPELLED!!! It's not Cas, it's CAZ. For anybody w/ Frankie jokes: I've been called CAZ since I was seven years old, it's the proper pronounciation of the first syllable of my real last name. So screw Frankie and Mike Mizanin, I"ve been doing this since the Eighties!
In all seriousness: Congratulations are definitely in order for Krotch, as he defeated Gavin Alexander to become the Dynasty PRO Crown champ. After all, the average guy Krotch's size couldn't possibly beat a guy 200 lbs. bigger. Krotch is absolutley NOT average. He's an amazing athlete, and deserves praise for that victory.
I'm tired and going to bed now.

And leave our threads alone.. -----Really? you're really going to ask that on a WRESTLING board? REALLY I'm not saying this was a bad show or you're a bad promoter. I'm just saying that you contradicted yourself. This is the largest wrestling board in the midwest & people will criticize your show & your talent all the time...it's wrestling! Just do your thing & let your shows speak for themselves.

Thank you for that contribution. And I agree whole-heartedly. And now, can we once again leave this thread alone and keep it on the topic at hand.
