Main Event WCPW Undisputed Heavyweight Championship (C) "The Hooker" Austin Roberts vs. "The Arapaho Warrior" ThunderfootThis is a re-match from the Sandwich, IL show where Austin Roberts defeated Thunderfoot but with controversy. Austin Roberts manager Psycho brought WCPW Icon and fellow Brotherhood member Ripper Manson to ring side to put the swerve on Thunderfoot. That led to an attach from behind by Roberts and Thunderfoot could never recover.
Could Austin Roberts be looking to the longest reigning Heavyweight Champion in the history of WCPW, Ripper Manson for guidance? If so is this the new version of The Brotherhood?
Austin Roberts and Psycho have been coexisting just fine but can the current Heavyweight Champion and the WCPW Legend bury their well documented past to resurrect the most Dominant Faction in Chicago Wrestling History..........THE BROTHERHOOD?

Imagine if that happened, who else could they be looking to recruit?

Who cares? They just need to stay on their half of the ring. I blame the old-school WCPW buddy fest as the single reason why I didn't get away with Sam's "top belt".
...I mean Thunderfoot.
Thunderfoot didn't get away with Sam's "top belt".

If you haven't had a chance to check out my pro wrestling column in today's SouthtownStar Fifty-Two Weekends magazine (which recently replaced the FirstLook magazine), the article on Page 13 includes a photo of "The Hooker" Austin Roberts as well as comments from WCPW officials about this show. You can check out the text-only version of the column at: www.southtownstar.com/entertainment/firstlook/virtusio/1322171,121108ProWrestling.article Also, in my "Elaborating on Entertainment" blog, I'm still looking for people to recommend suggestions in a number of categories including local pro wrestling promotion and/or a wrestler on the roster. You can leave your comments at: blogs.southtownstar.com/entertainment/2008/11/what-entertainment-do-you-reco.htmlA few notes about using the "Leave a comment" feature on the blog: -- While there is a field asking you to provide your e-mail address, that e-mail address will not be shown to the public once your comment is posted. -- The grey Captcha box sometimes trips up people because it's hard to see and very particular about the characters being typed in exactly. To be on the safe side, you should copy your text elsewhere before hitting the Submit button in case the Captcha kicks out your comment. -- If you've used the "Leave a comment" feature correctly, you'll get a message saying that your submission is pending approval. Note: I approve all non-spam comments as soon as I see they have been submitted. If you need information on where you can buy the print edition of the SouthtownStar, you can find retail locations at the below link, which includes spots in Alsip, Beecher, Blue Island, Bridgeview, Burbank, Burr Ridge, Calumet City, Calumet Park, Chicago Heights, Chicago Ridge, Country Club Hills, Crestwood, Crete, Darien, Dolton, Evergreen Park, Flossmoor, Frankfort, Glenwood, Harvey, Hazel Crest, Hickory Hills, Hinsdale, Homer Glen, Hometown, Homewood, Joliet, Justice, Lansing, Lemont, Lockport, Manhattan, Markham, Matteson, Midlothian, Mokena, Monee, New Lenox, Oak Forest, Oak Lawn, Olympia Fields, Orland Park, Palos Heights, Palos Hills, Palos Park, Park Forest, Peotone, Richton Park, Robbins, Romeoville, Shorewood, South Holland, Steger, Summit, Thornton, Tinley Park, University Park, Willow Springs and Worth. www.southtownstar.com/aboutus/1007978,061608paperboxes.article Other locations where you can find vending boxes can be found at the following link, which includes spots in some of the towns above as well as Crest Hill and Plainfield. www.southtownstar.com/aboutus/1008171,0616vendingboxes.article
