Here are the "official" results, much thanks for the quickie results. The ElitePro Office made the difficult decision to postpone the Demolition Cup after a number of cancellations and schedule conflicts. They did not feel it was fair to the fans to put on a less-than-stellar tournament and decided to instead put on a "regular" show instead. Needless to say, the fans were still treated to what may very well have been the best ElitePro show of the year. A show entitled: "Off Script". 1) Jason Hades defeated Helios w/C-Red with a rollup in a match that saw both men exchange pinning combinations throughout the match. Both men shook hands after the closely contested bout. 2) Sal Thomaselli defeated ryan_project, Brett "With Two T's" Michaels and the unnamed newest member of Team Taliban when Sal hit ryan_project with the Horse Collar Driver. The match was originally scheduled to be a three-way dance, but The Message came out and introduced his newest protege, a near 300-pound masked monster. 3) JD Hughes w/Kimberly Kash defeated Willie Richardson w/C-Red with a Death Valley Driver after Richardson missed the top-rope leg drop. Joey Eastman came out and announced that he had a "blockbuster announcement" concerning Joey Eastman World Wide in ElitePro, only to abruptly leave the ring before making the announcement. Eastman was clearly toying with the fans, but his motives were yet unclear. 4) Prince Mustafa Ali w/The Message defeated Brandon Thomaselli with a rollup to become the 3rd ElitePro World TV Champion. The end of the match saw The Message get involved, his interference seemingly backfire, only to see Ali roll up Brandon out of nowhere for the victory. 5) The Soul Touchaz (Acid Jaz & Marshe Rockett) w/C-Red defeated The Jensen Bros. ("The Real Deal" Jay & "Mean" Mark) and Team W.A.R. (Acid & Synn) when Jaz & Rockett hit a swanton bomb-frog splash combo on Mark Jensen. The match was originally supposed to be a rematch from last month, but Team W.A.R. interrupted and got the fans to put them in the match. 6) Martin Jones defeated "The New" John E. Kash w/Kimberly Kash & JD Hughes with a top rope splash in a battle of the two of the top members of the ElitePro Dojo. 7) Corporal Robinson defeated Vito Thomaselli 2-falls-to-1 to retain the ElitePro Heavyweight Title. Vito won the first fall when he got Corp to submit to his Another Thomaselli Tragedy submission. Corp won the second fall with a piledriver on a stack of chairs. The third fall saw Corp hit The Bootcamp off the second rope through a section of guardrails set up between two chairs. After the match, Joey Eastman came out and announced that he had signed his first talent to J.E.W.W. and that person was Corporal Robinson. Corp took the mic and asked Eastman why he would join J.E.W.W. It wasn't titles, because he already had them. It wasn't bookings across the world, because he already had those. So he saw no reason to join J.E.W.W. Just when it appeared that Corp was going to lay out Joey Eastman, Vito Thomaselli attacked from behind and he and Eastman put the boots to Corp. Eastman and Thomaselli took the JCW World Title and the ElitePro Heavyweight Title and Eastman claimed he had an open contract for a new talent to take on Corp for the title in January when the 2009 season begins.

First, I'd like to say how great the crowd was all night long. It was a big house and the crowd was vocal all night long. I know the wrestlers appreciated it greatly.
I'd like to publically state how excited I was to see the locker room seize the moment and put on what may have been our best show from top-to-bottom this year. As someone told me after the show, "all the shows should be unscripted". I think we have a locker room full of guys capable of changing course at the drop of a hat. There isn't a harder working locker room in the Midwest. Believe that.
If you doubt ElitePro because of the vocal and sometimes brutal nature of my posting on this message board, I can do nothing but challenge you to come to just one show in 2009. Come, watch and then tell me ElitePro isn't as good as I say it is.

The Demolition Cup was canceled because of bad weather?
It barely rained near me.

The ElitePro Office made the difficult decision to postpone the Demolition Cup after a number of cancellations and schedule conflicts. Did you even read the results? Or were you anxious to make a crappy comment? For the record, it was never said by anyone from ElitePro that weather had anything to do with the postponement. Ben Jordan

Just had a chance to look over the footage of the show. It's great stuff. Honestly. I'm not just saying that because, er, I'm the guy that looks over the footage. Although it was a bummer not to see the Demolition Cup at the last ElitePro show of the season, I was glad TPTB decided to postpone the tourney instead of trying to cobble something together without the amount of guys required.
And, if it wasn't announced that the show had been changed around, I would have never known that it was thrown together. The card was solid from beginning to end, and I was legit surprised to see Prince Ali get the TV title. This definitelty keeps things interesting for when ElitePro returns to action.
I also thought the students did a great job in the four-way match with Sal Thomaselli. It's nice to see the progression of those from the ElitePro Dojo.
One thing that was tough for me was figuring out who to cheer during the three-way tag team with the Soul Touchaz, the Jensen Brothers and Team W.A.R. When Acid Jaz did the hot chocolate mist on Acid, I was thrown for a loop even though that's a signature Jaz move. It will be interesting to see where the tag team feud moves next.
I'm also curious to see if Vito Thomaselli has indeed joined Joey Eastman's crew or if it was more that Vito just wanted to get back at Corporal Robinson for defeating Vito two falls to one to retain the heavyweight strap.
(On a side note, it was great to meet stevierichardsisgo at the show. Hopefully I'll get a chance to chat with more CPW.com members in person at future events.)
