Show started off with Johnny Armonni coming out and talking about his past and a new addition to the company, a belt called the "Black Coal" Championship which goes to the loser of any match or anyone holding a belt or siting next to someone in the audience. He then proceeded to talk about his time in the business and focused on an individual in the audience that wasa at the last show, bringing him into the ring and berating him, when this brought out Trademark, who defended his friend, by stating champions will be champions, but friends are just that until the end and then Trademark hit his friend with his tag belt and this brough out Malaki for the save and made Armonni and Trademark very upset and vowed revenge.
Frank Melson came to the ring and was talking about a dart match in Wisconsin and about a guy that was interested in coming to CLPW to wrestle, which brought out an unknown person that said the he was owed money and this brought in Draven who beat this newcomer to the company and after Draven won, his manager draped a flag over his face.
On to the Hevayweight Tournament;
Match #1 had "Outlaw" Dave Storm with Koa Marie vs "Classic Chris Hamilton with Hamilton advancing after his partners "Cash Money" interferred
Match #2 saw Steve Boz face off agaimst the man he won the Lightheavyweight Campionship from at the last show, the "Acumen" Austin Roberts. This match was very heated and all over the building, but Boz eventually succumbed to the power of Roberts as Roberts won and Advanced in the tournament.
Match #3 put Johnny Armonni with Hamilton and Trademark in his corner against the "Arapaho Warrior" Thunderfoot. Armonni tried to intimidate the Warrior but could not and with the pressure building up in this heated battle, Armonni with interference cheated for the win, which brought out Dave Storm and his disgust for the way the Armonni and Trademark got involved in other matches to help advance in the tournament and with the fans approval and clarification from Tank and the Commissioner, a match was made for the next show with Storm/Thunderfoot facing off against any of the two of the new faction(name escapes me) of Armonni, Trademark, Hamilton, Simmons. The decision was also made that this would be for the CLPW Tag titles.
Match #4 put The Great Malaki vs "Diceman" Ronnie Vegas and this match never really got started as Vegas anniliated his opponent and then started attacking everyone form the Ref to Malaki's manager Xavier DeFaust to Security Joe and the other ref, Nicholas H and Security Butch and was eventually led out in handcuffs to the back.
Match #5 was our Ladies match with December facing off against The Great Cheyenne, who came to the ring being booed by the fans. This match had alot of heat between these two ladies and eventually Cheyenne got the best of December and won her match.

Next round of the Heavyweight tournament saw Hamilton face off against Austin Roberts. This did not sit well with either man as they were part of the same team. They decided to see who would advance by palying Rock-Paper-Scissors for 2 out of 3 woith each man winning once. Third time saw roberts win with Rock to Hamilton Scissors and Hamilton last to Roberts' trying to break his arm.
Next match put Armonni against the Great Malaki. This match wa sheated due to the earlier part of Malaki saving Trademarks friend at the start of the show, with interference from Hamilton/Trademark, but nevertheless, at the end, due to interference, Malaki walked away advancing to the final round of the tournament.
Last match before the finals of the tournament was the "Galactic Grappler vs Jarod Priest(making his CLPW debut) for the Pro "X" title(JT Simmons relinguished after an injury).This match wwas heated with Preist trying to impress the owners of his talents, but eventually made a mistake and was rolled up by Grappler, who became the new CLPW Pro"X" Champion.
On to the last match of the night......
"Acumen" Austin Roberts vs. The Great Malaki for the CLPW Heavyweight Championship.
This match proved very interesting as Roberts has his liitle crew with him during this match as Malaki only had his manager, Xavier Defaust with him. Roberts seemed to have the upperhand on the match with Malaki doing his best to fight off, not only Roberts, but his crew of miscrents. Malaki fought long and hard to become the new champ, but with the extra muscle at ringside this proved fatal for Malaki as Roberts won and became the NEW CLPW Heavyweight Champion.
After the match Roberts announced that a new faction had been started in CLPW, and its name is MGM, which stands for Money-Gold-Muscle.
All in All, this was a great show as the house was filled to capacity and our next show is scheduled for January 2009. Watch this board for details and also at www.chicagolandpro.org
