Here are the results from our debut show in Bellevue, IL. Crowd was a little bigger than recent Joliet shows but they were the loudest crowd I've seen in quite some time. They were clapping, cheering, stomping their feet and making noise almost the whole night.
We return to Bellevue on Friday night, January 2nd. More details on that show later in this writeup.
1. Egotistico Fantastico def. Dustin Rayz. Ego was very popular with the crowd and definitely kicked the night off on the right foot. Ego wins with the springboard moonsault.
2. Marshe Rockett w/ C Red def. Ryan Phoenix. The crowd was not as pro Soul Touchaz as the Chicagoland crowd but Ryan Phoenix was a hometown kid. Marshe wins with the Ace Crusher.
3. Trauma w/ C Red def. Bull Schmitt. Bull was a tall big man that was a friend of Trevor Murdock. I'm guessing someone from the St. Louis area might be able to give more information on him. Trauma wins with a DVD.
4. The Michigan Militia (Jeff Brooks & Brian Skyline) def. Michael Elgin & Kris Chambers. Chambers takes a beating for most of the match and finally makes the tag to Elgin. Elgin comes in and cleans house. Chambers then turns on his partner and drops Elgin with a superkick and pulls the Militia on top for the pin. Chambers immediately grabs the mic and says that Elgin "sold out" Canada by getting Sami Callihan as a tag partner at Double Death. He says that no one from Canada including Ash or "even Bret Hart" will ever team with Elgin again due to his turning his back on the Canadian roots.
5. Sami Callihan def. Mickie Knuckles. Sami comes out pissed off that he doesn't get a title shot due to Dingo being injured and unable to make it to the show. He challenges anyone to come to the ring and get punched in the face if they think they are bad enough to take him. Mickie answers the challenge. Sami says that he'll treat her like he did her friend LuFisto or even better yet like he did her mentor, Ian Rotten. The fight is on and Mickie took a beating in this match. She dished it right back out but I think if she had a bit more recovery time from the broken leg that she could have put up a better fight. Sami wins with a Saitoplex.
6. Michael Elgin goes to a no contest with Kris Chambers. Michael Elgin (probably the most popular guy on the show with the fans) comes to the ring and grabs the microphone and calls out Chambers. Chambers comes to the ringside area and Elgin topes thru the ropes onto Chambers and the fight is on. Corey Mason runs out and saves Chambers from sure death or at least injury at the rate it was going. The Michigan Militia then run out and form an alliance with Chambers and Mason and the four men stomp a mudhole in Michael Elgin. The Michigan Militia then end their alliance and destroy Chambers and Mason and leave them laying too.
Announced for Jan 2 - Grits N Gravy vs. Michigan Militia vs. Sex, Drugs & Wrestling in a TLC match
7. Jason Hades def. Prince Mustafa Ali, Sal Thomaselli & Jake Crist in a 4 way elimination match to retain the IWA World Light Heavyweight Title. Prince Ali was very sneaky in this match. Sal leveled Crist with a double bounce of the ropes lariat. Ali ditched Sal from behind and jumped on Crist to eliminate him first. Hades was then able to lay out Sal but Ali ditched Hades from behind to jump on Sal and get the pin. It then came down to Hades vs. Ali and Hades wins with a Killswitch.
Ryan Phoenix then comes to the ring. He challenges Hades to a title match on January 2nd "even though I've never won a match in IWA" but says that with his hometown behind him that he is a cinch to win the title. Hades accepts the challenge and informs Phoenix that he has beaten far better challengers than Phoenix and that he'll show him why on January 2nd.
So on January 2nd - Jason Hades vs. Ryan Phoenix for the IWA Mid-South World Light Heavyweight Title
8. Trevor Murdock def. Ian Rotten. Trevor gets on the microphone before the match and announces that he is a sports entertainer now...a 3 time former World Tag Team Champion sports entertainer at that. He says that there will be no fighting, no brawling in the crowd, no weapons...just straight up wrestling. That lasted for about the first 3 minutes of the match before it went to the floor and the fight was on. Ian was busted open slightly before the action returned to the ring. Murdock wins with a bulldog off the ropes onto an opened up chair in the middle of the ring.
Ian and Trevor trade insults and threats on the microphone leading to:

Trevor Murdock should now be #1 heel after saying what he said.
I'm glad the turnout was good by IWA standards.
Was this Mickie's first match back?

It was Mickie's first match back.
She did well and didn't hold anything back so it was good to see that she didn't have fear of getting hurt again.
Sometimes it takes extra time to get over the mental block when returning from a severe injury than it does to just physically heal from the injury.

Bull Schmidt was one of the mainstays for Harley Race's WLW. He was a former champion there and had been working for Harley for a while.

2. Marshe Rockett w/ C Red def. Ryan Phoenix. The crowd was not as pro Soul Touchaz as the Chicago-land crowd but Ryan Phoenix was a hometown kid. First,I thought Marshe's finisher is called "m80"?(hence the name mr. m80) Second,NO acid jazz?? I really think these guys are ready to rip each other apart(especially after the lethal lottery)
