AAW's WCC IV is in the books and what a night at the Eagles Club. A sold out crowd of over 250 fans witnessed the below results.
Pre show-
"Mr. 450" Hammett / Dewey Dawson d. Jason Harris/ Caden Ames
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Before the show started Kevin Harvey interviewed Danny Daniels backstage about the elimination match. He said he didn't like his team and didn't feel like wrestling. He said he would go down to the Owner's box and drink some beer instead.
* Show started with "Tenacious P" Phil Colvin and Derek St. Holmes welcoming the fans to the show. They were interrupted by Joey Eastman who was with the Northstar Express and Mason Beck. Eastman claimed he had e-mailed the Twins earlier in the week and offered to take them back in Joey Eastman World Wide. The Twins came out and rejected the offer leading to a brawl. Shane Hollister ran in leading to......
-Shane Hollister d. Mason Beck with a buzzsaw kick
Beck showed some impressive power moves and also excellent agility for a big man but Hollister's quickness proved to be the deciding factor in this exciting opener.
* Promo from Silas Young in the lockeroom. He said he had a rough year personally with Val Malone leaving him for Josh Raymond but he was now 100% focused on winning the title later in the night from Tyler Black.
-Josh Raymond d. Phil Atlas with a Phoenix Splash
Raymond and Atlas showed to be evenly matched as this was a very closely contested match. Atlas is now 0-2 since his AAW comeback.
* Promo from "Mdogg20" Matt Cross who was getting ready for his Heritage title match when Arik Cannon came in and told Cross even though he was the fan favorite, Cannon was the man and there was no way Cross would leave with the title.
- Team Daniels d. Team Esparza
Order of elimination:
Brett Gakiya d. Jordan Mcentyre with a 450 splash
Chandler McClure d. Brett Gakiya with a roll up
Chris Able d. Nick Brubaker with a Death Valley Driver
Chandler McClure d. Krotch via submission
CJ Esparza d. Chandler McClure with a Shooting Star Elbow drop
Christian Able d. CJ Esparza after a Danny Daniels piledriver on the outside.
Non stop action in this one as Danny Daniels deserted his team in the early going to enjoy some beverages in the Owner's box. CJ Esparza finally went after Daniels in the crowd and Daniels issued a piledriver on the floor that would bring the match to an end. Daniels and "House of Truth" member Chris Able were the survivors.
-Hunter Matthews/Knight Wagner d. The Hybrids with the "Hak Attack"
Matthews and Wagner picked up their first AAW win here as they defeated the newcomers. As they celebrated their win Jimmy Jacobs came out and quickly disposed of both leading to.....
-Ryan Boz d. Jimmy Jacobs with a Boz driver
Jacobs looked to cinch in the "End Time" guillotine choke early and often. The fight spilled into the crowd. Jacobs would not stay down as Boz delivered two vicious powerbombs. The Boz driver finally finished Jacobs who fought his heart out in this one. Boz has become a force to be reckoned with.
*Promo from Tyler Black backstage. He said now is his time and although he respected Silas Young he would show why he will go down as the greatest AAW champion ever.
-Arik Cannon d. "Mdogg20" Matt Cross to retain the Heritage title with the "Glimmering Warlock"
Competitive match that saw Shane Holister come out to try and even the odds when Joey Eastman got involved. Holister accidentally nailed Mdogg20 leading to Cannon getting the win. Holister tried to apologize after the match but Matt Cross would not have it.
Tyler Black d. Silas Young to retain the AAW Heavyweight title with a roll up
Excellent match that saw Josh Raymond get involved about 5 minutes in and tell Silas Young that Val Malone had just gone into labor and he needed to go see the birth of his son. Silas decided to stay and fight Black for the belt. Each man had numerous counters to the others signature moves until Black got the win with a roll up. After the match Raymond appeared on the big screen confessing he lied about Malone going into labor and he was going to continue to make Silas's life a living hell. Tyler offered Silas a rematch anytime he wanted.
- The Phoenix Twins d. The Northstar Express in a TLC match to become the NEW AAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
A match no one will soon forget as Joey Eastman was brutalized, bloodied, whipped with a belt, and put through a table. Tons of action in this emotional roller coaster of a match that had the fans on their feet through out. All four men were a mess after the contest. Quite possibly the AAW match of the year as the fans were on their feet chanting "AAW, AAW" as the show came to a close.
AAW is back at the Eagles Club 12/20.
