Jimmy Blaze out with the M.O.B. explains why he turned his back on the team he put together at WrestleRage. Black Iron suddenly straightens up and removed his mask....It was Ruff Crossing. Crossing then took on the M.O.B. single handedly. As the M.O.B. retreated, Spade , DJ Donnie and others joined Crossing.
The real Black Iron came out and joined Justin James to face Cyanide and the Galactic Grappler. As the match progressed, Galactic Grappler turned his back on Cyanide and left him alone to be pinned by the M.O.B.
Melanie Cruise , The Great Cheyenne and Mia Martinez faced off in a three way dance. As Great Cheyenne and Melanie Cruise took turns beating on Martinez ,it was Cheyenne who scored the pinfall. Afterwards Cruise challenged Cheyenne to a match next month in Fox Lake.
DJ Donnie Dynamite , in his first singles match , faced Trevor Blanchard. It was a good showing by DJ but Blanchard picked up the win following a DDT.
Tag team champs Outta Control took on the fresh new faces of Trevor Gibson and Thomas Draven. The champs continued to prove their dominance over the division with a solid victory.
Andrew McCleoud took on Mikey Wild in what will (for now) be Wild's last match. Mikey Wild looked like he had it sewn up when the ref was knocked out, leaving Wild open for Eric Freedom to enter the ring and hit the "very bad things". Andrew picked up the victory when the ref came to. But it was Wild's night as the locker room emptied to support the crowd favorite.
Next was Jimmy Blaze match against Poww Magazine editor , Skitz M Jones. Skitz did his best but in the end Blaze was victorious putting Skitz down. The M.o.B. jumped in the ring to continue the beating but Ruff Crossing ,Scott Spade , DJ Donnie and Cyanide came out to make the save. It was announced that Skitz will be leaving to serve our country in Iraq.
After a brief intermission with Skitz still in the ring , Eric freedom came out to taunt Skitz and disband Freedom's Flock. But Skitz finally got his revenge sending Freedom running for the locker room.
Hardcore Craig bested the majority of the Poww roster to pick up the win in a Poww royal.
Matt Mayhem had a return match against The Great Malaki. Mayhem won the their last match but Malaki is on a roll since winning a Title shot at "Rage" and put Mayhem away by submission.
Xcon and Scott Spade faced off in a match where the loser will lose the services of their manager. The surprise in the match was the naming of Dehok as the special referee. Conspicuous by her absence was Spade's manager Taylor Made. In the end it didn't matter however as the result was a double countout and both men lost their managers. Dehok was rewarded for his efforts by an ace crusher delivered by Spade.
Silas Young and Ruff Crossing went one on one as Blaze hoped his work would be done for him by the vicious monster Silas. But Ruff Crossing was the victim of another M.O.B. attack. As Jade distracted the ref after a Crossing pump handle slam to Silas , Blaze ran in and nailed the flatliner to Ruff and allowed Silas to score the pinfall and win. The M.O.B. attacked Crossing . Silas wanting no part of this beatdown retreated to the locker room. Two of the Poww backstage employees came out to help Ruff but also were beatdown for their efforts. Scott Spade, DJ, Skitz, Wild Mayhem came out to chase the M.o.B. away.
Hardcore Craig faced Regional Champ King Kanoa. While Kanoa got used to the new feeling of wearing wrestling boots following his loss to Blaze at "rage", Kanoa still pulled out the win after a "Lei'd to Waste."
In the final match of the night, Eric Freedom tried to reclaim the World Title from Chris Cairo. In the end Cairo retained by rolling up Freedom and will head into 2009 still the champ.
BUT for how long? The Great Malaki came out to the ring to claim his title shot and challenged the champ.
2008 was a great year for Poww Entertainment and 2009 looks to be even more explosive!
NOTE: Skitz M. Jones will be leaving for active military service early in 2009. Poww Entertainment wishes Skitz a safe return.
