I guess it's better than seeing a thread on the Chicago board asking for CLPW results....slightly

1/2 of Money-Gold-Muscle came out at the beginning of the show to talk about the tag team title loss to Cheyeen and Chris Hamilton at the Thanksgiving show in Michigan. Johnny Armonni called out his tag partner Trademark and apologized for getting pinned. Cheyenne came out to start the show off but Hamilton was no where to be found, so she had to hand over the title after the ten count. After getting the titles back and a short celebration MGM was reminded of its title match from the last show vs The Ghost Dancers- Dave Storm/Thunderfoot. The match started with Dave coming out and looking for his partner who wasn't with him. While calling to him MGM attacked Dave from behind and was beaten down and pinned for the win.
Tag Team Champions- Cash Money
Match #2 Devon Draven vs Trevor Gibson This match was a grudge match from the last show as Gibson wanted to deliver a beat down to Draven for what he did to him at the last show. Both men fought really hard until the last minutes of the match and Gibson won via DQ.
Match #3 December vs The Great Cheyenne
The was another grudge match from the last show with special guest ref-Koa Marie
December tried to beat down her worthy opponent trying to do her best to gain the advantage but was only able to do so at times, as Cheyenne was able to use her size and strength to overpower December for the win
Match #4 LightheavyweightChampion The B-O-Z vs Pro X Champion Galactic Grappler ~ Title for Title
Both men came out fighting to see who could prevail and win the others title, but Boz was able to use his stregth to overpower his galactic opponent, at one point in the match it looked as though grappler was on a comeback only to be stoped by Boz and as Boz went for his finish, Nicholas H came out to scope out the match and as Boz was putting away grappler and Nick was distracting the ref, Thunderfoot hit the ring and beat down on Boz casuing the match to be stopped briefly, Boz and Grappler were not hapy with the interference and the match was turned in to a 3 way for the Light Heavyweight title.. Both Boz and Grappler started the match off by attacking Thunderfoot for him breaking up their match.. Thunderfoot persevered and came out on top. New Light Heavyweight Champion ~ The "Arapaho Warrior" Thunderfoot and a rematch for the title to Boz for the next show
Match #5 ~ Jarod Priest vs "Diceman" Ronnie Vegas
Vegas came out verbally abusing the crowd and the ref whom he beat up at the last show., but had a tough opponent in Priest to deal with. The match started off each one giving what the had in their arsenal of moves only to have special guest Pete the Greek get involved as Vegas distracted the ref. At the closing parts of the matchup Pete came up on the ring apron only to be followed by security to get him off of the ring. With the distraction, Priest was able to roll Vegas up for the pin and the win. Vegas was visibly upset that Security was messing with Pete and was also upset with the ref and ended up getting handcuffed to Pete .
Match #6 ~ Main Event ~ The Great Malaki w/Xavier Defaust vs Heavyweight Champion "Hooker" Austin Roberts.
Interference by any member of MGM would cause Roberts to be stripped of the Heavyweight title.
The match started off with each man using his moves to try and get the best of the other, but neither was able to get the pin. Malaki did his best to get the best of Roberts with his vast knowledge of his moves and was able to stop a great assault from Roberts. Roberts prevailed and got the pin and this brought out MGM member Johnny Armonni and all three memebrs of MGM beat down on Malaki and DeFaust.

I forgot to mention that at the end of the Draven vs Gibson match, Draven jumped over the tope rope to knock down Gibson and he landed wrong and what was thought to be a minor injury turned out to be two broken bones in his ankle/calf area.
We at CLPW wish Devon Draven a speedy recovery.

I thought these two young men had a very solid match .I know both are new to the business but they showed they have talent. Kudos to their trainer.I look forward to seeing both of them in action again.

It was a very good show. CLPW always delivers on the action. My best to Devin Draven. I wish him a sppedy recovery. He's a good kid with a lot of talent. Hate to see anyone get hurt in the ring. I'm sure the next show will be equally good.

So I made the drive for this show and here are my thoughts. The show opened well but there was way to much mic time done Johnny Armoni and Trade Mark...Cheyenne kept it simple but it was an extremly long promo by the other 2. I was sitting close to the entrance and I could over hear the locker room getting upset over it right through the curtain. It sounded like Ronny Vegas complaining to someone about it.
I also couldn't understand why Cheyenne gave up her title and then it was just left like that. She went on to wrestle December in a good match but never followed up with the other 2 she gave the title to.
Draven looked like a promising young talent till he got injured. I hope he recovers well. The match was what it was. Not good but not bad.
Boz and grappler....well BOZ tried.........
Jarod Priest and Vegas.....I spent more time looking for something to barf in because of how sick this match made me. I have said this before and I will say it again. Vegas is old and horrible. I have no clue why people book this guy but please stop! You can see it on his face that he has no passion and that he is just there to collect a payday. Give a young and deserving guy the spot instead of this old never was guy with no love for the business. Everytime I see him I get the impression that he is one of those guys who just does it because he has nothing better to do with himself. Vegas please move on with yourself.
Roberts and Malaki looked great! It was short but very hard hitting. Roberts was bleeding for most of the match and the belt shot he gave to Malaki was very solid. It was a worthy main event and match of the night. Those 2 are very good! I had not seen Roberts for a long time, I stopped attending windy city shows and most indies but the guy has gotten so much better since he started dipping his toes into the scene.

I was not at this match, but I have to agree with the assessment about Vegas. There comes a time and a place where the person should just hang it up and IMO, his time was about 5 years ago. That is not meant to be a put down, but an opinion.

I usually keep my mouth shut on this board, but im going to have to stop you for a second. Johnny had his spot on the mic yea he did talk WAY to long I agree..but we handled it. Apparently you heard. However my mic time wasnt long at all. On to the real reason why Im replying to this. Im not seeing what you people have against Ronnie Vegas. Yeah hes older, horrible NO! Theres ALOT older people that think they still have it too. that are HORRIBLE Ronnie wrestles because he wants to,not because he has nothing else better to do. I grew up watching Ronnie Vegas. That may be the reason I think highly of the guy. I'm deff NOT going to stop booking Ronnie Vegas. Frank & Myself agree at our 1st show Ronnie was a big help. I like booking younger talent aswell. BOZ Roberts,Malaki help make CLPW great, but so does everyone else. Its a group effort. CLPW is a team. I consider Ronnie Vegas a friend of mine, as long as Ronnie wants to wrestle in my ring, He WILL!!

Where does one begin pointing out what is wrong with the above post?
Nah, it's not worth the effort...
