1. Ryan Phoenix vs. Juice Robinson goes to a 10 minute time limit draw
Very good opening match that saw Ryan Phoenix working the neck of Juice and Juice hitting a very nice spinebuster, a spear and a few suplexes. Several near falls towards the end but they just couldn't get the three count. I have a feeling that this is not over yet and a rematch is in the works.
2. Bill the Butcher def. Greg Excellent
There was no Kimberly Kash and it was a very different Bill the Butcher following his KO loss to Necro Butcher. Bill ended up using his chain by wrapping it around his elbow and delivering a back elbow smash to Greg to get the victory. Greg had Bill on the ropes and momentum on his side before Bill resorted to using the chain.
3. Rain def. Mickie Knuckles in a Pinfalls Count Anywhere Match
Rain came out first and hid on the floor on the far side of the ring. As Mickie came out and walked around the ringside area tagging fans' hands, Rain attacked with an ambush and the fight was on. This one went all over the gymnasium and included many whippings with a belt, throws into the wall, dumping garbage on each other etc. They brawled up into the bleachers and this is when The Hooligans attacked. They ran out and grabbed Mickie and gave her a double powerbomb on the bleachers allowing Rain to get the win.
The Hooligans immediately went to the back after the attack. Ian came out from the dressing room to check on Mickie. When he saw she was alright, he went to the ring. He called out Jim Fannin and told him to get into the ring. Ian told Jim that he didn't need to wait until Joliet if he wanted to talk trash, do it now. Jim stated that he was a man of his word and since he said he would talk in Joliet, that is what he was going to do. The Hooligans came back out and attacked Ian from behind until Axl Rotten runs from the back and it leads directly into:
4. The Bad Breed def. The Hooligans
This was a return of the Bad Breed circa mid 1990s as Ian and Axl were laying in the chair shots and the ass kickings as the fight was everywhere. Three or four of the white chairs were broken by chairshots. At the end of the match, Ian hit a stunner and Axl delivered a lariat to get the pinfall. The victory was short lived however as The Hooligans attacked after the match and duct taped Axl to the ropes and then mercilessly beat on Ian using their belt buckle like brass knuckles to gash Ian open badly.
After The Hooligans left and Axl was cut free, he made the challenge for a rematch on March 20th for the return to Bellevue.
5. Keith Walker def. Zack Gowen
Keith Walker was a force of nature in this match as Zack just couldn't overcome the size advantage. He was able to get in a few things here or there and had Walker reeling at one point but Keith drilled him with a couple of Cut Throat Suplexes and then delivered a 6 Overhead Presses Gorilla Press Slam followed by a Walker Driver for the pin. After the match, another Walker Driver was delivered for added emphasis.
6. Drake Younger def. Jon Moxley, Devon Moore & B-Boy in a Pick Your Poison Match
This was a brutal matchup that was highlighted by Devon Moore being tied into a tree of woe, Drake then being snap mared into the corner onto top of Devon and then Moxley being thrown into the pile...B-Boy then delivered a triple decker B-Boy Dropkick. As Devon & B-Boy got sent to the floor later in the match and were fighting amongst themselves, Drake delivered a Drake's Landing on Moxley for the pinfall.
Drake Younger now gets to pick any match that he would like...EXCEPT for a title shot against Dingo.
7. Popular Electronics (Hype Shalwin & Gameboy) def. Contract Killers (Anthony Henry & Dustin Knight), The Starting Lineup (Kareem Abdul Jamar & Chris Mayne) and Frankie the Face/"Old Timer" Jeff King
This was a fun match with lots of great action between the Contract Killers and The Starting Lineup. Very impressive performances for them. The crowd loved when Kareem took his basketball and jumped off the apron of the ring and did a slam dunk on the basketball goal and with his landing took all the opponents on the floor out with a dive. Popular Electronics get the victory with the Beer-O-Matic.
8. Michigan Militia def. Grits N Gravy in a Ladders Match
The Militia attack Grits N Gravy while they were on their way to the ring. The action starts on the floor and they are quickly using the ladders as crippling weapons. A ladder is leaned against the ring on the floor and Brooks gets backdropped onto it. Sami hiptosses Skyline onto the ladder. Elgin was destroying chairs right and left with chairshots to Brooks. The action continued fast and furious until Brooks hit a concrete crash on Sami onto the ladder. Brooks then went for a Shooting Star Press but Sami moved. Sami then bridged the ladder across the second rope in a corner and then set Brooks up onto the top of the corner. Sami climbed around the ladder and got up on the top rope with Brooks and dumped him headfirst onto the ladder with a modified Michinoku Driver. Elgin was then going for a powerbomb onto the ladder but he ended up getting hit with powder in the eyes and was blinded. Sami went to check on him but Elgin thought it was still the Michigan Militia that he was trying to powerbomb. Instead, Elgin powerbombs Sami onto the ladder and the Militia get the pin.
9. Jason Hades def. "Quick" Carter Gray, Ash, Egotistico Fantastico, Shane Hollister, Yellow Dog & Prince Mustafa Ali in a non title 7 way elimination match.
So much action in this match that it will be hard to list it all. Ali went to the back and came back out with a shoe. He sat in the crowd and tried to light the shoe bomb on fire and threw the bomb into the ring. Yellow Dog thought he was playing fetch so he retrieved the shoe and brought it back to Ali. Ali was furious and tried again to get the shoe to light. All other 6 competitors attacked him on the floor to keep him from doing it and held him in the chair for Ego to deliver a running splash. Ego was stilled taped up on the shoulder/chest from the fireball that he was hit with by Trik & Ali.
Ali is the first eliminated, by Ego with the Beach Break.
Yellow Dog def. 2nd by Ash with a rollup and a handful of tail
Hollister eliminated third by Quick Carter Gray. Gray has him in a powerbomb position but takes Hollister's arms and crosses them between his own legs and picks him up like a powerbomb but falls backwards into a Northern Lights Suplex for the elimination. Hard to describe but impressive to see.
Ego eliminated 4th by Ash with a Super Kick
Ash eliminated 5th by Hades with a springboard double foot stomp
Hades then eliminates Gray with a Killswitch but doesn't regain the Light Heavyweight Title since it was a non title match.
10. Dingo def. Trik Davis to retain the IWA World Heavyweight Title
This was an outstanding match that saw Dingo fight an uphill battle with Ali ringside helping Trik during the match. Dingo was always fast to quickly roll back into the ring when on the floor to make sure the 2 on 1 advantage was short lived. You could tell that both men scouted each other very well as Dingo was able to counter the hangman's clutch among other things and Trik was ready with reversals as well. Dingo finally gets the victory around the 25 minute mark with a Super Fisherman's Buster Suplex.
