1. Egotistico Fantastico def. Brian Skyline with a Japanese Vertebreaker
2. The Yellow Dog def. Ben McCoy & Hunter Matthews with a top rope DDT on McCoy. McCoy and Hunter did not get along very well and kept bossing each other around on what to do to doubleteam Yellow Dog and it would backfire. The Bellevue crowd loves them some Yellow Dog.
3. Michael Elgin def. Bill the Butcher, Jon Moxley & Keith Walker to earn a spot in the 2009 Ted Petty Invitational. Very back and forth match with all 4 men beating the hell out of each other. It really broke down at the end with the action going to the floor. Elgin gained the victory by making Bill the Butcher tap out to a Canadian Crossface. Keith Walker was not happy to lose the chance at entry into the TPI without being beat himself and viciously attacked Michael Elgin afterwards with 3 devastating Sit Out Choke Bombs. Elgin had to be carried to the back on a makeshift stretcher. I do not know if Elgin will be in any condition to compete tomorrow but I am confident that he will be looking for revenge whether it is a good idea or not.
4. Sal Thomaselli & Ash def. The Hybrids (Jason Light & Donovan Cane)
5. Ryan Phoenix def. Juice Robinson by rolling through a flying crossbody off the top rope by Juice into the pin. Great back and forth action from these two that saw Juice with a display of killer instinct that he hasn't shown before in IWA. He took the action to the floor around the 10 minute mark and was throwing Phoenix into the wall and even gave him a piledriver in the bleachers. The frustration was really showing on the rookie with his inability to get a victory in three tries against Phoenix.
6. Rain def. Mickie Knuckles in the First Blood Match. These two women knocked the crap out of each other. Mickie ate the ringpost. They exchanged brutal headbutts and brawled all over the building but they just couldn't get the other busted open. The fight went to the concession stand and the ref got thumbed in the eye. While the ref was trying to regain his vision, Rain used her devious mind to squirt ketchup into the hair and face of Mickie Knuckles and started screaming at the ref "she's bleeding." The half blind ref saw the red on Mickie and called for the bell. Rain took off like the thief in the night that she was and left a pissed off Mickie needing to wait till Joliet for an opportunity at revenge.
7. Jason Hades/Ricochet/Shane Hollister def. Trik Davis/Tim Donst/Chuck Taylor when Hollister pinned Donst following the ED-209.
8. Shane Hollister def. Jason Hades & Ricochet in a three way dance to earn a spot into the 2009 Ted Petty Invitational
9. Prince Mustafa Ali def. Corporal Robinson to earn a title shot in Joliet vs. Dingo. Ali was scared for his life and rightfully so. Corporal was beating him unmercifully in the opening stages of the match until Ali took control working over Corporal's back. Corporal started fighting back and was ready to get a victory when Keith Walker came out to help his friend in Smooth Operations. The interference allowed Ali to throw Corporal face first into a chair wedged in the ropes in the corner. Ali then covered Corp with his feet on the ropes and Walker holding his feet for added leverage. Corporal was so pissed off about the interference and losing to Ali that after the match he asked Jim Fannin to come out of retirement to be in his corner for a return match because he needed someone as old school IWA as he was and someone with an evil mind that could think like Ali and company to watch his back. Fannin told him that he would think about it.
10. Dingo def. Dysfunction with a moonsault to retain the IWA Mid-South World Heavyweight Title.
11. The Hooligans def. The Bad Breed in a Barbed Wire I Quit match. The Bad Breed dominated this match. They were going back in time to their days as Funk's Few Good Men in ECW and breaking out Spinning Toe Holds, Figure Fours and other Funk weapons to try to get the Hooligans to say I Quit. The Hooligans proved to be some of the toughest and most stubborn sons of bitches to ever step into an IWA ring as no amount of chair shots, throws into the barbed wire or Funk submissions would make them say I Quit. Then out of nowhere, a third Hooligan runs out and attacks Ian running him shoulder first into the ringpost a couple of times. They quickly use their 3 on 2 advantage to tie Axl to the ropes with half a roll of duct tape. They then work over Ian enough to do the same to him. With both members of Bad Breed defenseless and taped to the ropes, the Hooligans got out a roll of twine. They ran the twine through the ear piercings of Axl Rotten and got ready to try to tear his ears off his head. Ian shouted "I quit" in an effort to save his older brother but The Hooligans began yanking on the twine even though the match was over. They then gave Ian a chairshot. This brought out Mickie Knuckles but she was no match for the 3 on 1 beatdown and she was bloodied with chairshots until the rest of the dressing room emptied to make the save. Commissioner Mike Z wasted no time after Ian and Axl were cut loose from the ropes to use his authority to bring an end to this feud. In Galesburg on April 25, it will be Ian, Axl & Mickie vs. The 3 Hooligans in a handcuff match. Since the Hooligans want to duct tape everyone to the ropes and have an advantage numbers wise, this match will be elimination and when you lose you get handcuffed to the ropes. The winning team gets to free their partners and then have 5 minutes to beat on the losers.
