Missed the first preshow match but...
Eric Scott & Brandon Moreno d. Tony Kozina & Ernie Osiris Thought Osyris was Necrobutcher's homeless twin brother. We called him "Box-car Joe" and his partner "Trackpants Willie". Nothing else worth mentioning aside from a nice, different, springboard bulldog.
Bobby Dempsey d. Stevo Molinski. I hate squashes, but the pop for Dempsey was fantastic as was the DVD.
Egotistico Fantastico d. “Skullkrusher” Rasche Brown. Rasche was HIGHLY entertaining and looks really cut. Ego didn't do much of anything.
Austin Aries & Rhett Titus d. Silas Young & Alex Payne. This match lost me when I realized that they put Aries in a situation where he wouldn't get as much reaction as he would normally. You'd think theyd want as much reaction now that they have TV. Match was disappointing and ok finish. Always enjoy Titus.
Jimmy Jacobs d. Roderick Strong & Claudio Castagnoli in a three way match. They could have gone a LONG time and still had the crowd. Very basic match based completely on fan reaction. The entire thing consisted of the crowd making noise applicable to the wrestler getting offense. "Hey" for Claudio, "Woo" for Strong, and "Arrr" for Jacobs (he was wearing an eyepatch)
The Dark City Fight Club d. The Phoenix Twins. VERY Disappointing. I normally LOVE the twins in tag action, but again they seemed hindered.
Bryan Danielson d. Jimmy Rave. Nothing really noteworthy.
Tyler Black d. Chris Hero surprisingly good match considering I HATE Hero. He did what I hate, continuously hitting his "finisher(s) of the day" losing what makes them special. Either way, very very good match.
Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards d. Kevin Steen & Jay Briscoe. Started out slow, but picked up steam. Very enjoyable. Lots of nice tag moments and near falls.
Jerry Lynn d. Colt Cabana. AMAZINGLY entertaining. A great example of build. Cabana is another one that is hit or miss for me, but this match was nicely paced, with great crowd work, some nice near falls, and good finish.
The first half had my crew and I questioning why we keep coming to shows. The second half was much more satisfying and worthwhile.

It was great to see so many familiar faces from the scene last night.
To anyone who was near the entrance ramp, I'd love more details about what happened when Jimmy Jacobs came out with the spike to attack Tyler Black since I couldn't see what was going on from my vantage point in Section B.
The "Hey" and "Arrr" responses to Claudio Castagnoli and Jacobs, respectively, had me cracking up. I loved when Jacobs got so aggravated that he tore off the eye patch. Of course, that just ramped up the "Arrr" chants a notch.
The toilet-paper reception for Jimmy Rave was fantastic! The audience comment of the night for me was someone exclaiming, "Jimmy Rave can't play 'Guitar Hero!' " to which someone responded, "Jimmy Rave was booked not to be able to play 'Guitar Hero.' He can play it in real life." Classic! And the match itself had me liking Bryan Danielson's offense. He certainly was all smiles during this one.
Even though it's weird to see Jay Briscoe teaming with someone else, I always enjoy seeing what he brings to the ring and was surprised at how well he and Kevin Steen worked together until, of course, they ultimately lost. I wonder if this will lead to a mini feud while Steen waits for El Generico to heal up and Jay waits for his brother to come back from injury.
Match-of-the-night for me is a tie between Black and Chris Hero, who looks ridiculous with those short trunks, and Jerry Lynn and Colt Cabana. As soon as Cabana did the top-rope pedigree, the boyfriend turned to me and said, "Pepsi Plunge!" I loved the comedy that Cabana brings to the ring and the back-and-forth of the match. Lynn can certainly still go, and the level of respect was there throughout the match and even in the outro speeches.

The show was great over all, however........it was lacking a certain something
It lacked
IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!
I know they dont use music they dont own anymore, however this was not a TV taping or PPV. Why cant they use them on "house cards" like last night? The entrance music for some guys like American Dragon is half the entertainment!

Damn HDNet, damns it to hell.
Really enjoyed the show, the main event was very well done. Claudio vs. Jacobs vs. Strong also really just made me have fun, but it could have gone a lot longer, they had us.
Damn you Chris Hero for having a good match...DAMN YOU!!!
