Donnie Dynamite won the Poww Royal when the Great Malaki and Ruff Crossing went over the top rope together. DJ is the last entrant in the 2009 King of the Royals. Brian Allen made his pro debut as referee.
In six man tag action, the team of Chris Chaos, Matt Mayhem and Hardcore Craig took home the victory over Black Iron, Dehok and Warm Carlos. Carlos took the spot of Xcon who is out with illness.
All thru the match Dehok and Iron could not get along as a team. Carlos upset with the two received a double clothline that prompted Carlos to leave the ring area . Right after, Dehok nails Iron with the sit down slam and bails out of the ring . Mayhem quickly covers Iron for the pin.
"Ruthless" Ramon Rodriguez retained the Regional Title when Scott Spade submitted to a "Ruthless" crossface crippler. Kanoa , who was guest commentator left the booth and went ring side. Annoyed by his presence, Spade couldn't resist approaching Kanoa. Spade then met with a fist to the face . Ramon taking advantage of the cheap shot quickly applied the crippler to get the win and retain the title.
In a non-title match with Trevor Blanchard as special referee, Chris Cairo pinned Justin James as Cairo aided Blanchard's hand in the three count. The champ had his hands full with the M.O.B. Blanchard, one of the most hated ever in Poww, continually favored James all thru the match. Blanchard teaching James the proper way to choke out Cairo and giving James foreign objects to use was just a few things Cairo had to deal with. Black Iron at ringside also getting in his licks. Although Cairo took a beating, the Bum Nation did prevail.
The inter-gender match saw the Great Malaki and Cheyenne wrestle Kanoa and Melanie Cruise to a time limit draw. Big pops from the crowd with the gals in the ring. Cruise side slamming Malaki a few times got the crowd buzzing. After the match Scott Spade charges the ring and attacks Kanoa. Malaki joins Kanoa as does Cheyenne and Cruise and all beatdown Spade. With barbed wire wrapped ball bat in hand Superhero Ruff Crossing runs in throws Malaki out and nailing the Great Cheyenne and Melanie Cruise with blows to the head. Crossing pissed, wants Jimmy Blaze in the ring..NOW.
Blaze, coming to the ring in full force with all the MOB. The fight starts in the ring, Blaze bails and decides to go bowling. Blaze walks downstairs were bowling alley is located. All league and open bowlers halted their game and were shocked as the fight continued in the middle of the bowling alley. A great number of the 245 fans followed the action. Crossing smashing the head of Blaze into the center support post. Ruff then grabbing Blaze by the seat of his pants and throwing him towards the rack of pins only to stop short of a "strike". The fight moved back upstairs. FEW HIGH-LITES that I can remember to much too describe..... Crossing goes thru a table....chairshots to Blaze....chalkboard to the head of Blaze that sounded like a sonic boom....all sorts of weapons used...keyboard...wheel rim...fishing net...cookie trays...Blaze busted opened as the blood streams down and across his face. With the MOB at ringside watching helplessly and being destroyed single handedly by Crossing. Crossing nailing Justin James and Black Iron with closed fist and slams. The melee came to an end when Blaze tossed powder toward Crossing as he was being held by Blanchard. Ruff ducks, Blanchard takes in the face. Crossing now yelling at security for handcuffs. Ruff handcuffs Blanchard and Jade to the ring ropes. Ruff turns towards Blaze and tombstones Blaze on bed of tacks. As the ref(Lou Tufano) makes the three count Malaki runs in and attacks Crossing. Malaki for his effort was also tombstone on the tacks. Blaze nails Crossing with a flatiner and gets the pin. Blaze and his co-horts battered, beaten and bruised proved why he is the king of the street fights.
