Monday, June 08, 2009 Next Show Due to scheduling conflicts, we've had to change the Date of our shows. The confirmed date is July 11th, at the Total Rec Arena. (210 North Bloomington in Streator.) Seating is available at 6:00 PM, with a bell time of 7:00 PM
We are proud to present our First ever
Bane and Botch Memorial Show.
Both were long time associates of Powerhouse and were taken from us too early. We would like to honor these brave men by celebrating their lives; We will be hosting the Botch Memorial Cup, courtesy of The WWA, and The Bane Hardcore title.
We'll have some newcomers to Powerhouse; "Prime Cut" Nick Cutler, Bear St. Pierre, as well as current Powerhouse Champ "Mr. Excitement" Brandon Keith, "All Night" Adam Reynolds and more.
More big news, we've signed Wrestling Legend COWBOY BOB ORTON, father of WWE Superstar Randy Orton.
Tickets are $10, and will be available at the door. Proceeds to benefit the Streator C.A.R.E. Program.

there'd better be some of these men's comrades working this show or it's not a good memorial. Just saying.
I'd love to go...but Streator & I don't get along so well...I may have to make 2 Exceptions next month.

Is Bear St. Pierre the fat guy that ate the LWF stairs?

Any card listed for this show yet? I'm interested to see who will be at this "tribute"

Can't have a show like this w/o people who were friends & worked with them...I see no card posted & being a friend of Botch.....this kind of pisses me off that this show is not more hyped with a card or anything.

Quit whining. Maybe they are not advertising on a message board. Maybe they are advertising it in town and doing foot work. I didn't know Botch all that well, but i am pretty sure he worked for Powerhouse. With that being said, maybe it is the COMPANY'S way of honoring their former employee.
Maybe I am wrong. I also think that the gate should go to the family if they are using his name

Dr. Tim Lyle doesn't exactly have a good track record with promoting shows or actually showing up at his bookings, and he has run completely stealth in recent years.

I always thought Tim was a good guy....but I question holding a tribute & doing little to promote it. Perhaps I'm partial due to the Botch tie in....sorry.

I need to rant for just a minute about what I had heard about this show.
So the Botch Memorial Cup never made it to Streator The only real people to ever really work with the 2 were Tim,Orton, & Mephisto (to my Knowledge).
I think that this was a rather sad kind of tribute...this should have used workers who actually knew these 2 & worked with them on a regular basis.
