July 2nd results
Guantlet match (winner gets a title shot at ANY TIME they choose, against any champion)
JT Simmons out first vs Matt Creed: Creed wins with a surprise roll up. JT jumps on Creed and lays him out.
next entrant is Sebastian Broadway, who quickly makes short work of Creed.
Next out is Rik Rocket who defeats Broadway.
Next out is Rocket's tag team partner, Rion Skillz, who picks up the duke over Rocket.
this brings out Steve Heisman who defeats Skillz.
Patrick Flanagan is out next, only to lose to the former midwest champion.
Wilelm Flanagan is next. Just as it looked like Steve had it won, Joe Heisman came out and cost his brother the match.
Flanagan thought he won it all until Jay Phoenix came out and DESTROYED the young man from Ireland. Winner of the Gauntlet: "the master technician" Jay Phoenix
Matt Creed vs Patrick Flanagan vs The Feature Presentation, Johnny Mac. Winner: Matt Creed via pinfall
Sebastian Broadway vs Steve Heisman. Winner: Sebastian Broadway via pinfall
JT Simmons vs Wilhelm Flanagan. Winner JT Simmons via Submission
Jay Pheonix came out next to issue the challenge for ANYONE in the back to be his partner and take the tag titles (using the title shot won earlier). this Brought out Jarod Priest. leading to:
PCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Jay Phoenix & Jarod Priest vs. Mixed Breed (champions) Rocket & Skillz managed to put the former tag partners down and keep the belts
PCW MIDWEST TITLE MATCH Party Animal Wally Wilde vs Joe Heisman (champion) Joe managed to defeat Wally when DECEMBER came out in a referees uniform, and wouldnt count the three leading Joe to hit Wally with the Midwest title. December then made a quick three count.
Come out Saturday at Oakfest 4-6:30pm for more great action.

After checking out Day 2 of PCW at Oak Fest, here's some quick thoughts:
It's too bad that some cocky spectators had to start something with JT Simmons after his match with Wilhelm Flanagan.
Spot of the night had to be Wally Wilde throwing Joe Heisman into the portable toilets, and then shoving both Heisman and December into one of the units.
Also, I saw some familiar faces in the audience whom I've seen at several shows. If you're regulars here and see me at Oak Fest on Saturday, please come and introduce yourself.

Given that the predicted "light rain" for yesterday wasn't letting up, I figured Day 3 would be canceled. But, as I was walking up to Oak Fest, I was still hopeful that somehow everything would clear up. But alas, instead, I just saw the PCW crew scrambling to get everything out of the rain. Hopefully all the wetness didn't wreak too much havoc on the ring.
Any chance you can share with us what matches would have taken place if the weather had cooperated, and if some of those matches will instead take place at a future PCW event?
I also thought it was a shame that the weather appeared to clear up right around 6:30 p.m. when PCW's show on Saturday would have ended.

it was supposed to be an unknown, where nobody knew who they were against until the music hit.

Maybe it was fate. The last time we did an Unknown show half our roster quit.
