AAW "Reign of Violence '09" is in the books and another great crowd witnessed one of the bloodiest nights in AAW history. Here's the results.
(No pre show tonight)
* Show opened with a promo outside the building where Kevin Harvey was awaiting the arrival of AAW Champion Jay Bradley. Knight Wagner and Jordan McEntyre showed up and tried to steal the mic time. Harvey was having none of it and neither was a young lady Wagner tried to hit on inside the building.
* Promo in the lockeroom where Danny Daniels and Ryan Boz were getting ready for their loser leaves match later in the night. They found Nick Brubaker in front of the mirror posing and told him to stop admiring himself and go make an impact.
- Zero Gravity d. Knight Wagner/Jordan Mcentyre with the "Flippy Cup Special"
After the match Brubaker came out and claimed he was the reason CJ Esparza and Brett Gakiya got a shot in AAW and he was sick of hearing how great they are. He challenged one of them to a singles match leading to..........
-CJ Esparza d. Nick Brubaker with a Shooting Star Elbow
* Promo from The House of Truth preparing with the chains for the Dog Collar match
- Mason Beck w/ Truth Martini d. Juice Robinson with a powerbomb
Impressive return for House of Truth enforcer Beck. After the match Val Malone lead The AAW Tag champs Josh Raymond and Christian Able to the ring and they all attacked Juice. Suds and Buds hit the ring leading to.....
The House of Truth d. Dan Lawrence/Silas Young to retain the AAW Tag Titles in a double dog collar chain match
Brutal and Bloody match that saw Dan Lawrence and Silas Young busted open in the early going. Lawrence grabbed a small sickle he had hidden under the ring and bludgeoned Christian Able. In the end The H.OT. wrapped the chain around Silas Young's neck and hit the "Tower of Truth" for the win.
* Bizarre promo from Chandler McClure in a hospital bed being shaved for surgery. He said he knew why he never got a push and he was about to undergo cosmetic surgery. Very strange.
- Krotch d. Nick Cutler w/ a Stunner
Impressive win from Krotch as he defeated the debuting Cutler. He addressed his sister Nikki who came out wearing a Northstar Express T-shirt and told her brother now she had friends and people behind her. She did have someone behind her. SHIMMER champion MsChif! As Nikki turned around she got the green mist to the face as the crowd erupted and her brother laughed.
* Dave Prazak addressed the crowd stating AAW Champion Jay Bradley was not in the building as Prazak told him to stay in Tampa. Prazak claimed there was just no challengers worthy of a title shot but said Bradley will defend the title at the 9/5 "Us vs Them" show.
- Faith in Nothing d. Irish Airborne and The Phoenix Twins in a three way tag
Innovative tag team wrestling here as all three teams laid it on the line. Faith in Nothing gets the biggest win of they're career and are now the #1 contenders for the AAW Tag Titles.
* Promo for Dragon Gate USA at the Congress Theater 9/6.
-Danny Daniels/Ryan Boz d. Jimmy Jacobs/Marek Brave. Brave is banished from AAW in BERWYN
Insane brawl that went all over the building. After ladders, tables and weapons all came into play Ryan Boz doused Jimmy Jacobs with a foreign liquid that blinded him. Brave was left alone and after a low blow from Daniels was pinned and banished from BERWYN. After The match Brave thanked the AAW fans and said he would not be coming back. The fans chanted "Thank You Marek!" as the show came to a close.
