Just got this info: Spectacular Entertainment will be bringing lucha libre action back to Waukegan Il. on Sunday September 13th. Main Event Super "Hope he doesn't bring the pyro this time" Porky and Mascarita Dorada vs Mascara Sagrada [as a heel?] Mini Cibernetico at the Lake County Sports Center located at 351 Oakwood Ave. doors open at 3:00 PM. Not to slam anyone if this isnt them - but wanted to share. Miguel Antonio Huerta ran a lucha show in Milwaukee not so long ago and skipped out without paying anyone. He deleted his myspace, quit answering his phone, etc. I just tried to go to the website on the flyer in this thread and it doesnt work. So if anyone is booked for this and have talked to Miguel, be warned.

They used to run good shows....
However notice the new logo on the flyer... ARENAS DE CHICAGO...they didn't work with these people before and did allright. Why they took up with them is beyond me.

I have checked the SPECTACULAR ENTERTAINMENT myspace page and it is still up and announcing this card. Mayhaps Miguel just workd with SPECTACULAR and did the Milwaukee show on his own. I have to make a call later tonight to someone else because I do have a question or two I would like answered. Although I think I might already know the answer to the question and it doesn't make me happy. Hopefully what happened in Milwaukee won't affect SPECTACULAR in any adverse way. They really were doing good lucha shows as far as I could tell. I cannot say anything about this past month's LUCHA ROCK since I was unable to attend due to prior commitment but in the past I have seen very good lucha cards from these people.

First of all oue even is still schedule, and for the rest i can assure you that we don't know who is this MIGUEL person you are talking about and we never did an event in Milwaukee. We have not worked with him at all we don't even know him. so if he has been possing as SPECTACULAR ENTERTAINMENT he is a lier. we are very responsable about paying our wrestlers and having a good event. Please make sure you call us at our main number 630-546-9752 if you don't see this # in the flyer is not us. now to give you more info tickets are $20 adult, and $10 for kids. However if you have students in the School Distric of Waukegan they will receive a coupon that reads One Kid Free wih the purchase of an adult ticket with this coupon. The addition of delicious Churros y Chocolate might increase my desire to make the hike up to Waukegan.
C'mon rerun, DVR Bears games, listen to Backspin on your way home from the show, it's so much nicer to start the DVR about halftime, and skip all the banal commercials NFL allows on their broadcast, and the NBC ones are even worse.
