Hello forgive forgive me for writing this in spanish but I have been reading the comment regarding that it may have been us who did the show in Milwaukee. Well we don't even know that person and we sure didn't know anything about any wrestling card in the neighboring state to the north and if this so called Miguel is usurping our name well better we don't see him because we will kick his ass. End quote.

Talked to my contact and he told me he no longer works with SPECTACULAR ENTETAINMENT but as far as he knew no one from SPECATCULAR had anything to do with what happened in Milwaukee.

I am getting reports from two SEPARATE but RELIABLE sources [for me anyway] that the wrestling did not start at 4 pm "sharp" as earlier posted by someone else but after 5 PM and that there were few people in attendance and the wrestling was a mixed bag. From my take [and I wasn't there] it sounds like the usual stuff from the usual people.

Of course it didn't start at 4pm. It's a wrestling show, those don't start on time.
There seemed to be many first/second time promoting mistakes* throughout, but the people in attendance all seemed to have fun.
*Said promoting mistakes, I'd think if corrected could make for a more enjoyable experience: -Allowance of fans to start hounding for autographs basically as soon as the final pinfall is made. -Allowance of kids to get in the ring whenever. (Personally I think never, one hurt kid and you're screwed; but if you're gonna do it, just allow it at intermission, so the show can flow normally. -Mid-match music, and that make the people clap drum sample. -Waaaay too much time between matches, show never got any flow, and then ended up going too long. -If you don't have a bell, but you run sound clips through the board, get a sound clip of a ringbell.
I had a lot of fun at the show, and it really seemed like everyone did in attendance.

Ok let me point out something: These WERE NOT first time promoters. The show was put on by SPECTACTULAR ENTERTAINMENT who has been doing shows for about two years now. Plus they recently began working with ADC as their new flyers shows, and they have been in the Chicago lucha scene a number of years now. I am familiar with ADC's style and the mistakes you mention are pretty much par on course with the way they run their shows: usually sloppy. I would like to add that at past SPECTACULAR ENTERTAINMENT lucha cards they always began on time or very close to the time they advertise whereas with ADC the late starts are very much the norm, and I have been to many wrestling shows where the wrestling begins very punctual so I don't think that it's ok or normal for wrestling shows to start late. It saddens me to see that SPECTACULAR seems to be slipping into the bad habits of the other lucha promotions but I guess that's to be expected when they start doing business with the other guys. In their defense I will point out that the start time may have had something to do with Super Porky wanting to go do an autograph signing in Aurora because he had another show there that night [hey thanks for the heads up whoever put this show on] still that shows some fault of the promoter. Either stand up to your main eventer telling him that until their card is over he is on THEIR time or let the main event go do whatever he wants to do meanwhile start your show with your undercard guys just as long as you make sure you can get Porky back in time for his match. The "mistakes" you mention have been going on for too damned long in the local lucha scene and are driving away alot of fans. I know this because alot of the people I had already turned on to the local lucha scene have abandoned going because as they would tell me they weren't getting thier money's worth and I am rarely going to these myself now. And my posting name on this board is Luchafan.
