Pro Championship Wrestling was back in action at the American Legion Hall in Summit, IL. With our upcoming show at SHOWTIME in Crestwood, IL next week, featuring Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka; we also officially announced that the Beautiful People from TNA [Angelina Love and Velvet Sky] will be our special guests on November 16th at Thanksgiving Turmoil.
"The Party Animal" Wally Wilde & Whiplash def. Simmons, Inc [Chris Style & Leon Tatum] w/JT Simmons
JT introduced the newest member of Simmons, Inc. Big Leon Tatum, who brought an impressive power game to the match, but ultimately fell to the more experienced Wilde & Whip.
Shawn Davis called out Jean-Paul Basse after his surprise attack at the last show and granted him a title shot. Basse in turn said that Davis was not worthy of facing "the future of PCW" and he'd have to earn the right by defeating Sebastian Broadway. Broadway hit the ring and nailed his full-nelson facebuster on Davis.
WOMENS TITLE
Juliet, the Huntress def. December by DQ
When December would not stop using her fists after a five count the ref awarded the match to Juliet
JT Simmons w/Leon Tatum def. Wilhelm Flannigan w/Patrick & Katie Flannigan
At one point, JT slid out of the ring and got in Katie's face. She slapped him, he grabbed her and kissed her, and the two struggled. Wilhelm went for a baseball slide, but JT spun Katie in front of him and she went down hard to the kick. As Patrick took her to the back, JT capitalized and rolled up the distraught Wilhelm for the pin.
Jarod Priest def. "The Shooting Star" Steve Heisman
Steve could not get his head into the game as his older brother Joe and December were sitting at ring side offering constant distractions. After the match, Steve hit a plancha on the pair and the locker room had to run out to separate the brothers.
Tom Heisman & Matt Creed def. Team Airtight
In a rematch from our last show the high flyers overcame the more experienced pair of Johnny Mac & Eric Marx. Mac hit a German suplex on Tom, but Tom used his neck to bridge out and get his shoulders up, but mac's shoulders were down so the ref counted a three count on the former heavyweight champ giving Heisman and Creed the biggest win of their careers.
MIDWEST TITLE
Joe Heisman (c) w/December def. The Butcher
The Butcher took Joe to his limit and it looked like he was going to become a two-time Midwest champion. While setting Joe up for a superplex, December distracted the ref. This allowed Jarod Priest, the man Butcher eliminated in last month's title match, to hit the ring and nail the Butcher with a kendo stick. He then used the Kendo to perform a russian leg sweep. He left the ring, and Joe hit a flying head butt for a pinfall.
TAG TEAM TITLES
Mixed Breed (c) def. The Chicago Connection w/PL Myers
Santana Starks & Jay Phoenix did their best but could not capture the tag team titles. The match ended with Mixed Breed pinning Starks after a side slam/diving leg combo.
HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
"Hot Bod" Shawn Davis (c) def. Sebastian Broadway w/Jean-Paul Basse
Broadway brought a power game that kept Davis grounded throughout the match, but also proved to be his downfall. When he went for the full nelson bomb that he'd hit earlier that evening, Davis was able to roll through and get the pin. After the match, Basse and Broadway once again laid out the champion.
